Arden is riding her horse, Midnight, around because she didn't want to just sit around. Maggie and Glenn found her some medicine that's okay for a pregnant woman to take for nausea and it's been helping a lot. Arden feels like she can actually do something now.
Daryl decided it would be ok to steal one of Hershel's horses yesterday to search for Sophia and Sora, and he got hurt. He took the horse named Nelly. Even without asking Maggie or Beth, Arden knows Nelly meant nervous Nelly. Back in South Korea, Arden had a horse with the same name. She was always a nervous horse.
"Glenn!" Arden calls as she rides up beside him and Maggie. "Peaches?"
"Here ya go!" Maggie chirps and she tosses one up. "Are those pulls workin'?" She asks as Glenn walks away.
"Like a dream," Arden says. "I'm gonna ride out to the creek. Get Midnight some water and search for the girls."
"Check on Daryl first," Maggie winks. "Rick wants to meet first. Meet us there."
Arden rides Midnight over and she jumps down off of him. She kisses his nods before walking over to where Shane, Rick, and Jimmy are. She listens to Rick and Shane as they plan. Arden grabs another peach from Glenn and she rides Midnight up to Daryl and her tent. She's been sleeping here since before he got hurt.
Daryl goes to snap but he relaxes when he sees that it's Arden entering the tent. Andrea stopped by to apologize for shooting him.
"No shootin' lessons?"
"I was a cop for over a decade, SWAT in South Korea and then a regular detective in the states," Arden says as she sits at his feet. "I'm a good shot."
Daryl stars at Arden and she hands him a peach. He takes a bite out of it while he watches as she eats hers. They eat their peaches in silence until Arden gets up.
"I'm riding Midnight to the third well since the water's fresh now, get him some water," Arden says.
Arden leaves the tent and she mounts Midnight. She watches as Patricia and Beth ride with Shane to get lessons in shooting. Glenn is alone with Dale. The Korean pregnant woman rides out to the well and makes sure Midnight gets water before she goes to the stables.
Instead of putting him in the stable, she washes off his silky black fur and she brushes him. Nelly comes in and Arden smiles. She opens up the door to her stall before she puts Midnight away and she walks back to camp. She walks over to the chicken pin and she grabs the hard corn.
"Hey," Patricia greets as she returns from shooting lessons. "Feedin' the chickens?"
"Yeah," Arden replies. "That okay?"
"Go for it," Tricia replies. "How are you feeling?"
"About my daughter being missing or being pregnant?" Arden asks.
Patricia cracks a smile. "Both."
"I'm worried sick about Sora and Sophia. I have no idea where they are or if they're okay." Arden replies honestly. "Maggie got me some pregnancy safe nausea pills. They work like a dream."
"Do you have any names?" Tricia asks.
Arden nods her head as she throws the corn in her hand to the chickens and dust the corn dust off on her shoets. "Yeah. Yuri for a girl. I had a twin sister who died. Her name was Yuri. Chul for a boy. My brother died in our first camp. He sacrificed himself to the dead ones to save everyone else."
"Both beautiful names," Patricia compliments.
"I'm gonna head back," Arden says and she heads back to camp and she helps Dale cook for everyone.
Arden and Lori react the same way to the cooked meat. Only, Lori gets nauseous and Arden throws up in the bushes. She leans against a tree and she groans. She didn't take a nausea pill today. She goes to her and Daryl's tent.
She grabs her pills and Daryl watches her as she swallows it dry. Arden takes the bottle of water when Daryl hands it to her and they head back to the camp to try eating something.
**********Daryl watches as Arden goes to their tent. The smell of the meat getting to her even after she's taken the pills for the nausea and throwing up. He knows she deserves to get the rest. So he leaves her alone to stay in the tent.
Daryl doesn't tell her about Glenn's confession, zombies in the barn, until he goes there to lay down.
