**Prologue***
People say good things happen to people who wait, but great things happen in a blink of an eye. I guess its safe to say that after everything that just happened to me, that one quote sums up everything.
"So, what do you say?" the melodious sound of his voice woke me up from my little haze. What did he just ask me? OH MY GOSH! He asked me if I wanted to ride with him to school!
"No, its okay. I'll just take the bus." I hope he didn't catch the excitement laced in my words. His deep booming laugh sent chills down my spine and goosebumps to rise up my neck.
"Lila, we're next door neighbors now. We go to the same school, I can drive, and I'm not taking no for an answer. A smile crawled its way up my face.
"Well, when you put it like that, how can I say no?" He flashed his amazing smile and on his way out, shouted "I'll pick you up at 8:15."
With that ladies and gentlemen is why I was smiling like a child as if christmas came early this year. OH, did I forget to mention that I've been majorly crushing on this guy.
