The sun won't be up for a few hours. No one would be awake for work for a while. Those who were, were going to work. The beach was empty. Perfect time for a ride.

Rakan slowly sneaked around through his house with his wet suit tucked in his bag. He looked around for a moment before he confirmed that everyone was still asleep. He then grabbed his board and quickly opened the front door. He then hurried outside and locked it behind him.

He quickly tossed his board into the back of his car before he jumped in. He started it and quickly left before anyone would wake up.

Across town, Kayn opened his bedroom window. He tossed his board onto the roof and climbed out with his skateboard. He grabbed his surf board and hopped on his skate board. He rode it off the roof, onto the shed, then onto the driveway.

He cheered silently before he skated down the street. He moved along before he reached the top of the hill that would lead down into town. He stopped and waited there for a moment as he kept an eye on the stop light at the intersection.

He watched it before it turned red. He then pushed himself forward as the few cars driving around went. He kept his eye on the light for a moment as he waited. He hoped.

Then, it turned green just as he reached the intersection. One car nearly hit him, but it missed. He threw up a fist.

Kayn: Whoo!

Then he hit a rock.

Kayn: Shit!

He fell forward and hit the road.

Kayn: Ow.

Ezreal silently snuck through the small apartment he shared with his mom and her boyfriend. A man he actually did get along with. Someone he had seen as a kind of father figure.

Both of them were still asleep in their bed as Ezreal snuck into their room. He carefully stepped over the piles of clothes and reached for Ryze's surfboard, but ended up tipping over an empty glass.

Ryze: Who's there?!

Ezreal flinched as he looked over to the couple as Ryze sat up and looked around.

Ryze: I'll rip your fucking head off!

He looked at Ezreal to find him with his hands up and a slight smile on his face.

Ezreal: It's just me.

His mother stirred a bit as Ryze sighed.

Ryze: Damnit, Ez. I was ready to kill you.

Ezreal chuckled a bit as he grabbed Ryze's board.

Ezreal: You mind?

Ryze shook his head.

Ryze: Nah. G-Go ahead. Catch some waves, dude.

Ezreal nodded and took the board. He gave a peace sign as he walked out.

Ezreal: Peace out.

Ryze laid back down and closed his eyes. Ezreal snuck out to the van and set the board inside. He then hopped in and started the drive.

You stared at the water as the waves reached their point break. They crashed and carried on as you took a deep breath. You looked at your board for a moment before you patted it.

Y/N: I need to start practicing now. That competition is in a few months.

Ezreal: And you're already losing your mind.

You looked back to see your friends walking towards you. You smiled at them before you turned back to the water.

Y/N: Seems like it. Though, I reckon that happened years ago when I met you.
