“Voh hamari pehli mulakat thi Hassena ji! Uss chulbuli ladki ko ek hame ek rough agent mein badalna tha. Vahi hamara sabse bada task tha Hassena ji”, Anubhav said and closed his eyes. “phir age kya hua??”, Hassena asked. “Phir hamari training shuru hui.. par hum use ek behen manne lage aur hame voh ek bhai manne lagi. Hum ek saath kai mission par saath mein gaye hai.  Aap toh jaanti hi hai ki missions mein kai baar undercover jana padta hai. Voh bhi ek mission ke liye undercover jane vali thi; hamare kehne par...”, He said as he remembered the incident...

Flashback

Six months back.

Anubhav entered conference room where Ayesha was sitting with Nayan. Nayan passed one file to Anubhav. “Kya hua? Tumhare chehre ka rang kyu utra hua hai?”, Anubhav asked Nayan while fiddling and turning the pages. “Ayesha as an undercover jana chahti hai. Jacob ke gang mein”, he said and Anubhav stopped wherever he was doing. He turned to Ayesha who was sitting head down looking at her hands. Ayesha looked at him with so much courage. She only nodded. “Toh aap taiyar hai? Hame pura yakin hai ki aap apana best dengi.”, He said sitting down to level her level. “Mujhe pata hai ki voh log kuch bhi kar sakte hai! Kuch bhi!!”, She had kept forward her fear. Her insecurities towards her honour were justified but he understood that duty comes first always. Ayesha clutched his hands. “Bhaiya hum aaj aapne senior se nahi aapne bhaiya se baat kar rahe hai. Hum aapse vada karte hai ki aapne jaan se jyada aapne desh ki jyada fikr karenge. Hum maar bhi gaye na toh bhi unhe aapne aap ko haath lagane nahi denge”, she assured him. “Aaisa nahi bolte baccha. Kuch nahi hoga tumhe. Hum vada karte hai tumse ki kuch nahi hone denge tumhe. I will be personally your backup”, he said and Ayesha hugged him. “Thank you bhaiya”, she said. Nayan was smiling.

Flashback ended

“Kaisa mission tha voh?? Kahi yeh voh mission hi toh nahi hai na, jiske karan aap kuch dino se pareshan hai??”, Hassena asked but Anubhav only nodded. “Yeh Jacob kon hai?” “Jacob ek nightclub owner ka naam hai. Voh nightclubs ke bahane na jane kitne illegal kaam karta hai. Drugs, human trafficking, organs ki chori, mass murders jaise kai gunah. Usse police pakad nahi pai nahi hai. Toh humne hi suggest kiya ki Ayesha ko iss mission mein undercover jana chahiye. She was initially reluctant, but humne hi usse force kiya. Kash humne aaisa na kiya hota Hassena ji!..”, Anubhav narrated all about Jacob and the mission. “Toh fir holi vali din ke baad kya hua tha???”, Hassena asked impatiently. “Voh...”, Anubhav was going to speak but his vision blurred and he was going to fall but Hassena caught him and layed him on bed. “Anubhav!! Anubhav kya hua??”, She patted his cheeks. “Shayad khaana nahi khaya hoga. Yeh bhi na!”, She said to herself. She immediately called doctor and informed Karishma.

“Ka hua tha Hassena madam??”, Karishma asked. She was lost. “Sir hame saari sacchai batane vale the Karishma. Voh bata hi rahe the ki unhe chakkar aa gaya.”, Hassena said. “Pata nahi yeh Anu bhaiya ko ka ho gaya hai??”, Karishma said being frustrated. “Shayad Vajah Ayesha Gupta se judi hui hai Karishma”, Hassena said. “Ayesha, voh ladki jiski tasveer hame mili thi??” “Ha, vahi ladki. Shayad Jacob naam ke ek apradhi ko pakadne ke liye voh ek mission par gayi thi” “Fir?” “Pata nahi uske baad sir behosh ho gaye”, Hassena said. Doctor came outside. “Dekhiye, unhone abhi tak dhang se kuch khaya nahi hai, jaldi se unhe khilaye aur dava de dijiye. Tabhi unki recovery jald se jald ho payegi”, Doctor said and left.

Karishma entered the room and found Anubhav staring the ceiling. Hassena came with a plate with some food. “Chaliye aab khaana kha lijiye”, Hassena ordered. “Hame bhook nahi hai!” “Bhaiya!!”, Karishma nearly shouted.. “Aap kuch bhi kaho, aapko khaana toh padega hi. Agar aapne nahi khaya na toh hum... Hum... Bhook hadtal par chale jayenge”, Karishma warned. “Aur hum bhi...”, Hassena added. “Aap dono nahi manenge. Chaliye laiye”, he said. He ate the food and Hassena washed the dishes. “Aab shanti se so jaye. Hame pata hai ki aap kai din se thik se soi nahi hai..”, Karishma caressed his hair. “Hmm..”, He hummed and drifted to sleep. Karishma sent Hassena forcefully to her home and herself stayed there.

Next morning, Hassena got ready and departed to MPT. Hassena entered the hall and saw them all lost. Karishma was missing. “Jai Hind!!”, She grabbed there attention. “Jai Hind Madam!!”, they all saluted her. “Karishma Singh kaha hai??”, she asked. “Voh field duty par hai. Vaise aapko kuch kaam tha?”, Pushpa ji asked. “Nahi voh baas aaise hi puch rahe the.. hum cabin mein baithe hai....”, Hassena said and went to her cabin. Her phone rang. She received and talked for some time and got up from her seat; she came out in the hall. “Hum jara ate hai, Pushpa ji. Aap jara Thaana sambhal lena..” “Hum sambhal lenge madam..”. Hassena left.
