Love Is A Smoke Made Out Of Lovers' Sighs

Violet sees a table, piled with flowers for the actor and the tech crew. A vase of roses sitting on a table for one of the actors, she looks around, making sure no is looking and swipes a rose for Ashley, holding it behind her back.

She walks into Ashley's tent and sees her taking her costume off and changing into her regular clothes.

"Hey there, Juliet." I smile.

Ashley turns around, smiling brightly at me.

"You did...absolutely incredible." I tell her, my eyes glistening at her.

"Thank you, Vi." She blushes.

"You got my message?"

"Oh yeah, i got it." I laugh, walking towards her, my hands still behind my back, holding the rose.

"What's behind your back?" Ashley laughs.

"Oh ya know, just mountains of cocaine." I smirk.

"Oh, how lovely!" Ashley says sarcastically, laughing.

Violet smiles at Ashley and reveals the rose to her.

"For you, m'lady." I smile, handing Ashley the rose.

Ashley looks genuinely grateful, she takes it and admires it for a moment.

"You stole this from the flower table, didn't you?" She smirks at me.

"Yup." I smile, walking closer to her.

Ashley and Violet embrace each other with a tight hug, "i love it, thank you." Ashley whispers.

They pull away from each other, "well, you deserve about a thousand more of these, for that performance."

Ashley blushes, then turns around gathering her things into her bag.

Ashley tosses her bag on a chair, then faces Violet.

"So..." I say quietly.

"Let's get the hell outta this town." Ashley smiles.

Violet smiles and grabs Ashley's bag, handing it to her, she grabs it and takes Violet's hand, walking out of the tent together.

"Hey, so i'm gonna go talk to my parents, i'm gonna tell them that i'm staying at your house for few days, so that will give us time to get as far away as we can before they notice we are gone, they should be okay with it...well my mom at least. I'll be right back." She says letting go of my hand walking away.

This is really happening. Me and Ashley are actually running away together. I haven't even know her a week, yet it feels like i've known her for a lifetime.

Ashley comes running back over to Violet.

"All set!" She says, cheerfully.

"Alright, let's go!" I laugh.

Ashley takes Violet's hand and they run towards the parking lot.

"In here." She says, opening the trunk of a car.

Ashley throws Violet a duffel bag.

"What's this?" I furrow my eyebrows, examining the bag.

"This is my parents car, i snuck it in the trunk earlier, a little after you left. I packed you clothes, snacks, and other essential things for running away i guess." She laughs, closing the trunk of the car.

"You are...amazing, Ashley Taylor. Thank you."

"You are very welcome, Vi. Come on, let's go, my duffel is already in the car you fixed up." Ashley smiles.

"Wait, it is? When did you do that?" I ask her, as we walk towards the junkyard.

"Also earlier today." She smirks.

Violet chuckles and gives Ashley a playful shove.

Violet and Ashley walk in the street, the lampposts shining down on them.

Ashley runs up to the next lamppost and spins around, giggling.

Violet smiles at her, admiring her joy.

"Ugh, i love nights after a show! No more nerves, just...adrenaline!" She jumps off the curb, bumping into me.

They giggle and lean into each other.

Violet and Ashley eventually reach the junkyard, walking around trying to find their car, they spot it and run towards it, throwing their things in the backseat.

Holy shit. We're doing this. This is happening. Okay. Wow.

Violet takes two of the wires hanging down from underneath the steering wheel and puts them together.

The engine starts almost immediately.

Violet and Ashley look at each other and laugh with excitement.

"Buckle up, Ash!" I smile, putting my seatbelt on.

Ashley takes her seatbelt and clicks it in, then looks over at Violet.

Violet slowly puts her hands on the steering wheel and looks back at her.

They think of the words to say but nothing comes out, they just smile at each other for a few moments, taking it in.

"Alright, let's fuckin go." I say, shifting the gear into drive.

Violet stomps on the gas petal and they speed out of the junkyard and onto the main road.

Ashley cheers and rolls down the window, sticking her hand out.

"WOOO!!" She screams out the window.

Violet looks over at her and laughs, as the wind blows through their hair.

Ashley giggles and rolls up her window, then turns up the radio.

"We're really doing it, Vi!" Ashley squeals.

"We really are." I smile.

Ashley continues to dance to the music on the radio as Violet continues to drive out of town.

Suddenly, a blinding light comes from Ashley's window and a loud horn blares.

Violet tries to swerve out of the way, but it's too late.
