The start of a new friendship

November 14th, 1992

"Hey, y/n, i bet you can't beat me in a race!" My best friend Adam said. "Adam come on!" Y/n shouted as she tugged Adam's arm. "Alright I'm coming don't rip my arm off!" "Adam, look, we made the team!" "If you see your name on the list, come up and collect your jersey." Coach Reilly said, as i grabbed my jersey i saw it, hawks Bombay #98 in bolded letters. I remember coach saying something about another Bombay. I wonder what that was about? As i was about to walk up to coach i heard Adam yelling for me to go home and my mum wanted me.

As me Larson, Mcgill, and Adam were skating around we heard a group of boys talking about magazines Larson skated up to one of them and snatched it "hi girls, does your mommy know you have that." He said in a baby voice "nah she's to busy with the mailman" Mcgill teased. "That will make a great bathroom reading" Adam reported. "That's mine you jerk i found it!" one of the boys said "you don't even know what to do with it wuss breathe." Larson remarked "Larson give it back to him." I scoffed I didn't want anything bad to happen i then heard the boy shout "no!" The next thing i know is the boy was charging at Adam, Larson, and Mcgill. They pushed the boy into the trash bags  and started laughing. They started teasing him mimicking "come on come and get it." Larson teased "yeah". Then a new boy was walking behind the three of them before i could say anything Adam, Larson, and Mcgill were lifted into the air and thrown into the garbage bags. The boys looked shocked and started to skate off. I muttered a quick sorry before i joined them. As i was skating off I noticed a cute dirty blonde boy staring at me in awe.

"Ew Adam you smell gross" I teased "well you didn't get thrown into the trash bags now did you?" Adam retorted "no i didn't because I wasn't teasing people now was I?" I sighed "what's wrong" Adam questioned "I don't know, there was a cute guy staring at me after you left." "What'd he look like! I swear i'll beat the crap out of him" Adam started rambling "Adam!" "What! I just don't want you to get hurt by anyone I promised your mom and your my best friend." He pouted "you know I don't need you to protect me right?" I stated "I know but not knowing that your protected is scary." "Who were these boys?" I questioned "I think they're district 5 we're going up against them next week." Adam said
