School Of Dragons [Hiatus]

Chapter 10

Leiptr, Dread, Eret, and Skullcrusher got ready and the funny thing was Eret also chose to use a crossbow for a weapon.

"Dire!" Leiptr called then looked at each other and nodded knowing full well what the other is thinking like Dread and Sandr which was quite funny since they are almost polar opposites.

Eret smirked while Skullcrusher grunted as he went in front of Eret and shot a fireball to separate Leiptr and Dire.

Of course, this didn't go as planned since Dire shot at the core of the fireball with her own frost-like breath.

Leiptr then abruptly pulled the trigger of her crossbow not even looking towards where the arrow will land and directly rushed towards Eret.

'I learned something from Sandr's fight, it is that our teachers are cunning, strong, and many more but quite rusty when it came to split second decisions' Leiptr thought to herself while grinning and continued to shoot at Eret who is now unable to even peek his head to shoot.

"Great strategy but still quite weak" Eret said as he heard the barrage of arrows stop then aimed his crossbow behind him where Leiptr was.

"Leiptr wins!" Hiccup announced which of course surprised Eret until he felt things encircling his neck which are undoubtedly chomping down on his neck if it so wished and he was even too scared to even swallow his saliva.

"Thankfully a certain someone has something like this" Leiptr said while Sandr glared at Dread who only looked away in embarrassment and of course, this little exchange made Leiptr giggle and Dire warble.

"Next up is our beloved princess Zephyr with her Father's famous Night Fury Toothless and the resident twin pranksters Ruffnut and Tuffnut and their dragon Barf and Belch!" Fishlegs announced since Hiccup was busy trying to figure out the principle of the thing that Leiptr used to trap Eret who was also interested and swarmed Sandr.

"Barf/Belch let's get ready to make some trouble!" Ruffnut and Tuffnut said simultaneously with smiles on their faces.

"Barf cover the entire arena with gas!" Ruffnut shouted while pumping out her fists.

"We have to leave" Leiptr said as she dragged Sandr who was looking forward to the match.

"But-" Sandr wanted to argue but the gas smelled funny to him so he swiped Leiptr's feet off of the ground and carried her then started running outside.

"Eeep!!" Leiptr couldn't help herself and yell out in surprise.

When they got out Sandr placed Leiptr on Dire while he mounted on Dread then flew high up into the sky, their actions confused many until Hiccup took a whiff of the smell that the gas Barf spat out and then covered himself, Astrid and Nuffink with his cloak which was made out of his old armor then get covered with fur.

The others soon followed Leiptr's and Sandr's lead and did the same with their dragons.

"Damn, why are our teacher's dragons titan wings?!!" Sandr asked no one in particular while Eret, Snotlout, and Fishlegs looked at their dragons and noticed the not-so-major change in appearance.

"So that's why you looked different!" Snotlout said.

"Of course due to them growing to Titan Wings they can be considered as elders, that's why they became much more powerful and slightly went easy on the young ones!" Fishlegs voiced out while Eret nodded while Sandr and Leiptr felt bitter along with Dread and Dire but then they saw Skullcrusher shake his head and even growl in anger along with slapping Eret in the back with his tail.

"Ouch! You mean I was rusty?!! Well... I can't deny that" Eret said while communicating with his dragon.

Sandr and Leiptr looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh at what they had just witnessed but then they heard a loud boom coming from the arena that they had just escaped from along with two adults who looks a lot like each other hanging on one of the railings of the iron dome slumped down. Thankfully their clothes still have plenty of parts of their old dragon armor that's why they didn't take much damage.

"Yeah!!! Let's do it again!!!" Tuffnut shouted before he abruptly fell unconscious. This was the evidence.

Meanwhile, even Barf and Belch were also surprised by the power they had displayed while Toothless who was like a black ball opened his wings to reveal a perfectly fine Zephyr but was unconscious then like an arrow headbutts Barf and Belch then he whipped the two with his tail until they passed out.

"Draw?" Hiccup asked Astrid.

"More like self-destruction" Astrid snorted which made Hiccup giggle.

"Since the riders are out, this match is a draw!" Hiccup announced while Nuffink slightly became scared of Barf and Belch.

Leiptr then glared at Sandr whose gaze was locked onto Barf and Belch.

"Sandr... No!!" Leiptr shouted as she knew that look since her foster mother always complained whenever Sandr's father had that look.

"Fine..." Sandr said dejectedly, he wanted to store some of it in his trident then cause a massive explosion in fleets of ships but gave up on the idea as carrying that gas is much more dangerous than carrying a live bomb that can sink an island.
