Kaila's POV

Looking at the massive gate, I could feel the ominous aura it radiates and also smell it's pungent scent, making me nauseous.

'What the hell is this trial?! Can I even clear it?'

I bit my lip while contemplating my rate of completing it. Just looking at this massive gate, I could tell it would be so much harder, maybe hard enough to challenge my parents.

The two Goddesses were not here the moment I opened my eyes. Even they don't know what the trial is as they said that it was tailor made by the Chaos for me.

Just what kind of trial is this? For it to be able to give me such a dangerous feeling?

But, what they said before about the successor, it really made me quite curious. If I am their successor, then what would happen to them if it's my time to inherit their role? And shouldn't I only become a Successor to one Goddess and not two?

There is so much information and questions inside of my head that I feel like my head was about to explode.

"Is there even a reward except the control over my magic once I completed this trial? Why is life so difficult? I was just born days ago and yet, I am already facing this kind of dilemma."

Placing a hand over my forehead, I use my left hand to push the massive gate. Instead of the gore place that I had expected, the place looks really beautiful.

Walking through the gates, I suddenly feel a chilling air surrounding me before a loud bang was heard. Looking back, the gate is gone.

The chilling air didn't dissipate, instead it became more intense. While I was thinking on how to alleviate the chill, I suddenly felt a warm air. The chill in my body slightly lessened before being back again.

I follow the direction where the warm air came from. When I identified the place it came from, the place was covered in flowers that look like sunflowers but a little smaller and they are red.

When I touch one, a flow of information about it suddenly flows into my mind.

Brace Sunflower. Just like the name, it causes the body to feel nice and fresh. The leaves and petals of this could heal the chill that reside in the body and also heal fatigue, while the root and stem could be used as food supplement for those who are sick or had a weak immune system.

Feeling overjoyed, I pluck one petal before directly putting it in my mouth. When I swallow it, I can feel a gush of warmth that flows in my whole body. It took a total of five minutes before all the chill in my body dissipated.

Feeling refreshed, I stretch my whole body.

"Ah~. This feeling *crack* is really *crack* great. Woah. I feel like my real body is really here. My body just creates a sound even though I am supposed to be in my soul state. Awesome."

After stretching for a bit, I plan to stroll for a bit, but I didn't expect a beast would suddenly appear before me.

It is a red colored bee, the size of a 10 square meter house.

"Are those… swords?"

Looking at the sword that was in the hands of the bees, I only have one thought.

'Am I supposed to beat that? In this state of mine?'

Feeling blank for a bit, I almost missed the slash coming for me. Rolling to the left side, I stood up immediately before sprinting to the best of my abilities.
