"*Extends hands out-* Hold still, I'll heal you-" Wendy instructs as her hands are glowing a soft green-colored light.
"*Grunts-* No, forget about me. You have to get out of here!" Arcadios commands painfully.
Suddenly, a voice appears behind the Rescue Team and caught everyones attention, "POP GOES, A KINDLE-!"
That unknown person then punches the ground and it immediately shoots out
purple-colored slime melting the ground below, BLOOSH~!
That is when it forced everybody to scatter around preventing themselves from touching the acidic goo. Natsu is the one who grabbed Arcadios and dashes away.
"What is that?!" Lucy stares at the melted ground in shock.
"It's acid-!" Lily replies instantly.
"It's eating the ground away-!" Carla comments.
"*Sniff sniff-* This smell... It's from before the shaking-" Wendy retorts after having a whiff of that same smell. The smell of melted rock.
"My first catch of the day~!" Out of nowhere another voice appears, this time that person is standing behind Wendy who startled her with their arms in the air.
When Wendy turns around, she saw a
bald-headed man, "And she's a beaut, *Slams ground-* What a haul~! *Swing Flag upwards-* "
He slammed his hands onto the ground and pulled out a flag, sending everyone into the air with water splashing out from the ground.
SPLASH!!!
"So much ow..." Lucy whimpers after she landed on the ground.
"Who are these guys?" Natsu asks after jumping away while holding onto motionless Arcadios.
After he asked, plants and scraps of paper started to appear as well. Small blue-colored flowers are popping out from the ground followed by a giant dark purple-colored bud.
On the other hand, a swarm of
purple-colored scraps of paper suddenly flew from nowhere and went to one spot.
"What is that-?!" Mira yells in surprise staring at the flying papers.
"Confetti?" Yukino replies.
The dark purple-colored bud opens up to reveal a long pink-haired woman while the confetti swirls around forming the shape of another woman. Then, a long black-haired woman took its place.
"I think they attacked Arcadios..." Yukino plainly assumes.
"Get out of here, *Grunts while rises on his elbows-* you're in danger!" Arcadios demands but nobody moves.
"*Clenches fists-* Why old man? You know who they are?" Natsu inquires.
"They're an Independent Squad that serves the Fiore Kingdom from the shadows. Ruthless, bloodthirsty executioners..." The wounded Arcadios enlightens the five unknown people standing infront of the Rescue Team.
While Arcadios is explaining, someone among the Rescue Team is having a troubled thought about someone in the Hungry Wolf Knights, '...I'm just lost...'
'Hmm~' With her eyes shadowed by her cap, she gazes at Haru, '...A beautiful soul whom I once called a friend has fallen into the side of criminals...'
