After that howling threat, Scarlet remains unfazed. I wouldn't describe as unfazed, but more like confused, 'He's not saying anything else...'
"What now, Scarlet?" I asked his next plan of action, "...What you said about you being spied on, is true- It sounds to me like she's targetting you..."
He faces upwards at the darkened skies over Magnolia, still silent in thought. Afterwards, he turns to face me, with a raised opened right-hand before me, awaiting for me to grab it, "...A great threat looms near us all, Cosmos... Will you still follow me, or return home? Know that if you choose to follow me, expect that I will be excessive on your protection..."
I stared at his black-armoured gloved hand and return sight to his white-ribboned blindfolded eyes. He never lost when it comes to fair battle, because I have seen it first-hand. Especially during the dragon attack on Crocus, Scarlet has slain 4 of 7 Dragons total... So, what's so menacing of that threatening voice?
Unless, it is something like a hidden grudge only the owner of that voice knows...

Tilting my head, covering my left-eye with my cap, I gave him a wide smirk~ "I was dragged here by you and against my will, Scarlet~ I intend to see this ordeal to the end... *Grab Scarlet's hand-!* ...my beautiful friend~"

He then firmly tightens his grip around my hand, and I too did the same. It felt rather soothing and warm~ "Now that, that is settled, all that remains is to continue the investigation on the Celestial Spirits-..." He gently releases his hand...
Scarlet began to contemplate as he wrapped his right black-armoured hand around his chin in thought, "We can't return to the guildhall because it will put everyone there in danger, so as visiting any other cities or towns..."
"And where exactly do you have in mind, Scarlet?"
He forms a smile, exposing his teeth, "To the hills we go~!"
Several hours later of spending more time together with him at the hills further South of Magnolia, it felt like an eternity~ Not a second goes by without me being bored~
