Respect to Adhaan.
Do we really respect the Adhaan?
I would like to highlight the most common issue nowadays; disrespecting the Adhaan.
Each and every one of us have seen this; different events, celebrations, weddings etc keep on functioning even during adhan. If we are watching television, listening to music, chatting many of us do not stop and respond to the Adhaan.
We see it as if it is not a big deal, right?
The following hadith explains the importance of Adhaan.
"It is more virtuous to stop reading the Quran and to listen to Adhaan and repeat the words of Adhaan."
Subhanallah!
If we are told to stop reading the Quran upon hearing the Adhaan,
what about the music?
Television shows?
Some of us even continue talking to each other during Adhaan as if there is nothing going on.
Funny thing, we all respect the flag of our nation when it is being raised.
May Allah forgive us.
If you already knew this before but you've just been ignorant, change.
If you had not heard this before, take it as a lesson from today.
If you hear the Adhaan, respect it.
Yes.
Let us all respect the Adhaan.
