Eren's POV
---------------
Levi is pissed. We have just sat down inside the café at a booth. We haven't even gotten a coffee yet because of Hanji's outburst. A steady string of curses are leaving his mouth, but it's just soft enough that I can barely make it out.

"Stupid fucking Hanji this is our motherfucking date you shitty friend you are the definition of an asshole you fucking brat..." Hanji is sitting there with this smile that says 'I know I've interrupted your date and I don't really care'. Great, this is going to be fun.

"Sooo, Hanji, what brings you here?" Maybe I can help lighten the atmosphere, because Levi is giving off the murderous aura. I wrap my arm around his waist and start to rub circle on his hip. He stiffens but relaxes not too long after.

"I actually work here!!! Since being an conductor is kind of stressful work, this is my day job so I can have fun and relax! Levi actually got me this job, he's been coming here FOREVER, since before I got this job. This is where we talk about y-"

"Hanji, if you finish that sentence, I will ruin all of your experiments and destroy them right in front of your eyes." Levi has not calmed down it seems. I sigh and pull him closer to me in the booth so he is almost on my lap. His cheeks are slightly pink and he doesn't look as pissed.

"Hanji, can we please have some coffee?" I ask her.

"Yeah, sure, no problem! I'll assume Levi will have his normal, and what do you want, Eren?"

"Can I get something with caramel? I don't really care what," I turn back to Levi. I see her nod and my peripheral vision and run off behind the counter. "So what do you normally get here?"

"I normally get a vanilla cappuccino with a double shot of espresso. I like the sweetness of the vanilla with the bitterness of the espresso. It's a nice contrast. Why did you ask for something with caramel?" I nod, happy with his answer.

"Caramel is my favorite flavor, so I don't really mind whatever it is as long as I can taste the caramel." I start brushing Levi's hair away from his eyes. His hair is so beautiful. Raven-black hair with a under cut seems to fit Levi perfectly. It's so soft too, he must take good care of his hair. Running my fingers through his hair helps to calm him down even more. I press my lips to the top of his head to give a soft kiss. Levi turns his head to look straight in my eyes, and the happiness in his eyes is amazing. I cup his cheek in my hand and run my thumb along his cheek bone. A hand comes up along the back of my neck to push my head down so I am eye-level with Levi. He presses his lips to my cheek and I blush. I press my lips to his in a loving kiss.

"AWWWWWWH YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!!!" Levi jumps away from our kiss at the loud noise but wraps himself more into me once he realizes it's Hanji with three drinks. Wait, we only ordered two dri- , oh, she's planning on drinking coffee with us. This is going to be awkward. Especially because I don't know Hanji like Levi knows Hanji. I blush hard and hide into Levi's shoulder.

"Hanji, you're scaring him. Also, I thought this was our date. Our being Eren and I, not you, Eren, and I. Plus I want to make out with this cutie without you, you gross mouth-breather." Wow, Levi doesn't kid around.

"Leeeeeeevvvvvvviiiii, we've been best friends for years. You got me and Isabel together, why can't I enjoy you being happy?" She starts pouting like she's a five year-old. It's so weird seeing my barely 20 year-old conductor pouting at my almost boyfriend.

"Who's Isabel?" I pipe up.

"Isabel is my foster sister. You know Erwin, yeah?" I nod in response. "Erwin, Isabel, another guy named Farlan, and I were all in the same foster house. We weren't good kids growing up. In middle school, we all got adopted by different couples but managed to live in the same city. I introduced Isabel to Hanji. It was a bit difficult since Hanji is non-binary and Isabel had never met someone like that before, but the two hit it off and they've been dating for.... How long has it been, Hanji?"

"It's been almost two years that we've been together." The grin Hanji has on they're face lights up the room.

"That's really great, I'm really happy for you, Hanji!" Levi looks up at me and adjusts him so he's more snuggled into my side and he sighs in happiness. I kiss his forehead and and squeeze him around his waist with my left arm as I need my right arm to drink the caramel whatever-the-heck-it-is-that-Hanji-made-me.

"So, what about you two?" Hanji wiggles their eyebrows at the position the two of us are in. I blush and shrug, taking a drink from the coffee. Levi glares at Hanji and tries to move further into my body. It's like he just wants to be permanently attached to me.

"I really like this little shit. You're going to be seeing a lot more of him so I hope you're prepared," I hear Levi mumble. I smile and look at Hanji. Oh, they heard him too. Great.

"Levi, you better ask this little cutie out, otherwise I'll have Isabel beat some sense into you!" They threaten.

"Let's see her fucking try. She's never beat me before. And I never said I wasn't going to ask him out. You're just in the way. Do you know how shy Eren is? I can't ask him out in front of you, shitty glasses. So either beat it for five minutes or I will break those glasses so you won't be able to see for at least a few weeks." Levi seriously does not mess around. I am worried for Hanji's safety, seriously.

"Alright, alright, I get the message. I'll be behind the counter. Good luck with your date, lovebirds!" They race off behind the counter before I can thank them. I turn back towards Levi and he looks pissed.

"Oi, Eren, do you like me?" I blush really hard.

"Yeah, I like you. I really like you. I've liked you ever since that night when you cried on my shoulder."

"Wait, really?" He blushes slightly pink. I nod at him with a blush of my own. "Well would you, cellist extraordinaire Eren Jaeger, like to date me, world-class violinist Levi Ackerman, until you decide you don't want me anymore?" I am crying, tears are rolling down my rosey-red cheeks. I couldn't be happier than I am right now.

"Yes, I will date you, world-class violinist Levi Ackerman, and I will always want you." I'm still crying but I hug Levi as tight as I can. Thank God he's on my lap so I can hug him better. I burrow my face into his muscular shoulder.

"Hey, hey, hey, Eren. Take a deep breath. How about we finish our drinks and we go see that movie, yeah?" Oh, he's worried about me. Wait, he's worried about me!!! That's so sweet. I choke out a laugh and finish my caramel drink. I'll have to ask Hanji sometime what it was that she made me. I really like it, I think I'll get it again next time we come here. Levi finishes his drink too. He gets off of me and then holds out his hand for me to take. I grab a hold of it and we walk out together, hand-in-hand.

"Oooooh, I want to see this new movie, Levi!!!! Can we see that one?? Pretty please??" I start jumping around him. I know it annoys him but I really want to see the new SpongeBob movie. I love SpongeBob, I grew up with him.

Levi sighs heavily but nods in agreement. "Which movie do you want to see?"

"SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: Sponge Out of Water!!! I love SpongeBob!!!"

"Are you kidding me? Seriously? That movie is for little ki-" He stops when he sees that I'm sad. I've been told that many times. Mikasa and Armin never make fun of me for what I like. Jean always gives me shit because he thinks that everything I like is only for little kids and that I should just 'grow the fuck up' as he likes to say. "Eren? Hey Eren? Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that. I was joking aroun-"

"It's fine Levi, really. Let's see a different movie. Jupiter Ascending is a good choice, let's just go see that instead!" I try to brighten up, I don't want him to see me sad. I've heard the whole 'I was just joking' thing before. I don't want this relationship to start off on the wrong foot. He seems to get the picture and sighs.

"Alright, let's go see Jupiter Ascending. I've heard it's good from Erwin." I nod and reach for his hand. He gives a small smile and we head to his car. This has been a great date, even if he's an asshole sometimes. Cute little angry man.
