The Lonely

Eren's POV

I can't do anything. I'm in shock. Warm tears pour out of my eyes and land on Levi's head.

"Eren?" Levi turns his head towards me.

"Don't look, I don't look very good," I try to wipe my tears away fast. Levi looks up in horror and grabs my cheeks with his cold hands.

"Eren, what's wrong? Did I say it too late?" Dark grey eyes searching my own frantically.

"Oh god no," I squeeze Levi into a tight bear hug. "I'm so happy. Levi, I'm so happy! You love me, I don't have to worry anymore," Levi pushes me away and I see his eyes widen in shock.

"You were waiting for me to say 'I love you'?" Levi asks, voice low.

"Of course I have, because I was anxious. Your feelings for me have never been confirmed before," I say, scratching the back of my head. Levi stares at me and tears start pouring out of his beautiful grey eyes.

"Eren, I love you. I love you so much. I've always loved you. I'm so sorry. I love you more than anything," Levi sobs as he wraps his arms around my neck. Hot tears and snot are on my neck but I don't care. I begin to cry as well.

"I love you too. I'll always love you," I cry out. We look so pathetic; the two boyfriends crying on each other's shoulders. We stay like that for a good couple of minutes as both of our breathing patterns turn to normal.

"We're losers," Levi says as he pulls away. I grin at him and he laughs back.

"But we're losers together," I kiss his forehead.

"Yeah you two are," Mikasa says as she walks up with Armin, her arm slung around his shoulders.

"Seriously, you two are the cheesiest couple. I'm so proud of you nerds for finally confessing your feelings for each other!" Armin squeals, running over to us and initiating a group hug. Levi looks so uncomfortable and Mikasa seems to catch on. She goes over and grabs Levi out of the hug, giving him a bro hug instead.

"I got you, bro," Mikasa whispers, just quiet enough so Armin can't hear.

"Thanks, Mika," Levi whispers back.

"Aye, Mika, Armin, where are your respective partners?" I ask.

"We don't know actually," Mikasa confesses.

"They were with us one second, and the next they were gone!" Armin pouts. At the end of his sentence, we all hear mysterious cackling.

"Oh dear Satan, please tell me they're not here," Levi groans.

"Oh goodness, I think they're here," I whisper.

"Hanji?" Armin asks. "Where are our partners?"

"They're safe!" Hanji's head pops out of nowhere as they continue to speak. "They're helping me set up for a party that you're all invited to!"

"What the actual fuck, Hanji," Levi sighs.

"Well I couldn't get ahold of any of you soon enough, so I came as soon as I could! I ran into Annie and Erwin and they offered to help put together the party! It's tonight at 9, by the way," They say as they go around hugging each one of us.

"Hanji, we're still in school...." I run my hand through my hair.

"Don't worry about that! There's no alcohol there so you'll be okay! Pleeeeeeease?" Hanji begs. They're really good at puppy faces.

"Fine, fine, we'll go to your party," I grumble, embarrassed that I was beat.

"YAY! Okay, Levi and Erwin know where I live so the two of them will take you to my house! See you then!" They yell as they run off. Mikasa, Armin, and I make eye contact.

"What did we sign up for?"
