"No." James said when he saw you looking longingly at Regulus. Who reciprocated.
Currently you were in study hall and Regulus was a close friend of your older brother. And holy cow Reggie was cute.
"No what?" You turned to your older brother.
"No boys. No Regulus. No one"
"But you have Lily!" You fought back.
He flicked your forehead "yeah, I know"
He walked away. Completely disregarding your feelings.
You rolled your eyes locking your eyes back on Regulus who was nervously looking at your big brother walk away.
"Oh don't mind him Reggie" you said and he rolled his eyes at you.
"Easy for you to say, he wouldn't rip your lungs out" He said and you laughed.
"No he wouldn't" you sighed. Happy that you instilled fear into your older brother from an early age.

Months passed and James was still clueless about yours and Regulus's relationship.
Make outs were always cut short because James would interrupt at the worst time. —
"See ya little sis!" James shut the door and didn't look back. Sirius was always pulling him out the door of yours and James's manor.
"Bye."
Regulus chuckled at your emotionless response. It was of your qualities that you and him shared. It was hard to for you to show emotion. Always over shadowed by your brother.
The minute James left you jumped on the couch Regulus was sitting on.
"Wanna make out Reg?"
"I don't know. Aren't you scared James might come back?"
You ran a hand through his soft curls. His eyes closed at the feeling.
"My sweet Regulus", you kissed his amazing cheekbones, "who cares if he finds out"
Regulus couldn't resist your touch. "Fair enough" he flipped you over so you flopped on the couch and he was on top of you. He burst out in laughter putting his head against your chest as he laughed.
You pulled his head and leveled his lips to yours and you kissed him passionately. Running your tongue against his. You both were in high moods. Nothing could bring you guys down.
"Hey Reg"— Sirius barged into the house "Merlin!" He yelled.
"What's wrong Pads?" James's eyes travelled to yours.
The sight of his baby sister on top of a boy, Specifically Regulus Black, was all he needed to see.
"Regulus how about we go into this er- um outside, really good Um, sunny" he bolted out the door.
"Im gonna just er- outside" Regulus shuffles to the door and shuts it loudly.
"I'm only going to say this once"- before he could finish you cut him off.
"I'm going to say this once. I'm 16 and I can snog anyone I want"
"I'm only. Going. To. Say. This. Once. No boys" he said.
You slapped him across the face. Angered at his audacity.
You stared up at your brother in disgust "it's not your decision to make James. I can't help it that I like Reggie. And he likes me"
"All guys want is one thing little sis!"
"I. Know. That."
"Stay away from Regulus"
"The minute we are alone me and Reggie are going to snog. You can't do anything about it but accept it James" you walked out the door to see Reggie and Sirius pressings their facing to the glass. "Reggie take my hand"
He immediately took it and Sirius's eyes almost bulged out of their sockets "that's new, well 5 minutes new" he said
"It's about time you knew" you said simply
"James! Meet Reggie Black, My boyfriend" you took his hand and your brothers and brought them together to shake.
James ripped his hand from Regulus's and spoke "is this some kind of teenage angst or some shit Y/n"
"Sure" you fired back.
James said nothing but glared at you. You reciprocated the same expression.
"This is awkward" Regulus said
"Shut it Regulus" James said.
"Our relationship is happening whether you like it or not James"
"I'm just gonna"- Sirius attempted to sneak out of the room when James spoke.
"Stay"
You and James had a silent staring contest.
Besides the fact that James was a foot taller than you and built huge from quidditch. There was one thing he feared.
You. And mum. The female Potters.
They could do a lot more damage than they showed.
Your eyes narrowed and James gulped.
You grabbed his collar and pulled him down to your height.
"Stay out of my love life James"
You let him go and took Reggies hand.
You led him down the hall that went to your room.
"Accept it mate" Sirius said "you don't have to worry about your sister. If Regulus tried anything, which by the way, he won't. Y/n would set him straight, you know that"
"Your right, what was I so worried about" he attempted to laugh off his anger.
"Don't forgot m, lily is coming over later"
It was like James was a different person. His posture straightened out and he smiled brightly.
