Chapter 5

Daniel groans opening his eyes looking down he saw a beautiful lady in his arms, moving her hair from her face Daniel know what today is.

Shaking Larmina she opens her eyes and snuggles more to him.

"No." She said tired.

"Lar I have too, it's to keep you and everyone safe." Daniel said.

"But I don't want you to."

"You can still visit me."

They hold each other tighter.

"Okay.." Larmina gave up and has to accept it.

Daniel went inside the room sitting on the bed, it was a isolation. Since he's infected he has to be isolated until they find a cure his room was like any other room just was cut off five feet from the door by glass.

Vince puts his hand on Larmina's shoulder seeing the sad face, he's sad too but it's for the best.

"Okay Daniel, I'm going to need a blood sample and a string of hair." Pidge said taking out a needle.

Daniel moves his head closing his eyes.

"Is something wrong?"

"I hate needles." Daniel whispered holding out his arm. "Make it quick."

Pidge took his blood and a strain of hair putting it on his glove. Everyone left except for Keith.

"I'm sorry I was getting angry at you." Keith apologized.

"It's alright, you're doing your job." Daniel said.

"We'll get you a cure."

"Thank you."

Larmina was in the control room with a sad face.

"It's okay Larmina." Allura said.

"It's like he's a geunie pig." Larmina said.

"He's not we just need him to stay there, for protection." Pidge assured.

"Until you get the cure which is going to take a long time."

"Well I wouldn't say long time, just, I don't know."

"Exactly. Now I need to get some work done stay safe."

Larmina got up and left.

Larmina gave money to the orphanages on planets, she was really wealthy so she can give money away without worrying.

"Larmina."

Larmina looks up from her tablet to see Allura.

"Is something wrong?"

"I got a thank you letter from five orphanages on Arus saying you gave them millions on dollars for charity."

"Oh yeah, I did that for other planets too. They was going to shut them down and hurt the kids so I had to help."

"I never expected you had that much money."

"Yeah, my family is kinda loaded." Larmina said scratching the back of her head.

"Well I wanted to say thank you, when they told me about this I didn't know what to do." Allura looks down at her hands.

"I took me three days to figure out what to do, I mean I don't know if you have any money to spare."

"No, we don't have money like that."

"Oh well it's okay, you could done a fundraiser."

"That never crossed my mind."

"It'll be okay not everything is easy to accomplish."

Allura went inside the catacombs to see her father's spirit.

"Father, I don't know if I'll become a great queen."

"Don't say that, you need time."

"But I can't accomplish work correctly. And with Larmina as Queen now-"

"She's finishing your work." Her father's spirit finished. "Don't let this get to you, you can do this."

Then he disappeared.

Allura looks down what can she do.

The boys was in Daniel's isolated room going over the infection.

"So this isn't permanent?" Daniel asked.

"No, you get aggressive when mostly your around haggarium. And when your mad you act out." Pidge said looking at his tablet.

"So haggarium makes to one's infected aggressive and crazy." Keith said.

"Mostly what we know, yes."

"And when did this started again?"

"When my brain got switched with voltron but I think how I got it when that spider creature stung me." Daniel told.

"Don't worry Daniel we'll get the cure." Vince assures.

"So when I get the cure, will it work for Sven?"

The boys eyes widen.

"We didn't think about that." Lance said.

"Maybe if we get the cure we can find him and try him." Pidge said.

The door opens and closes showing Allura and Larmina.

"Hey boys is everything going well?" Allura asked.

"We're getting how he got infected first." Pidge said.

Daniel saw Larmina and while everyone was distracted he lunges at her wrapping his arms around her pulling her to him.

Larmina gasped in shock and the team activates their volt coms.

"Daniel what are you doing let her go!" Vince said.

Daniel eyes glows purple and he just growls. Daniel sits on the bed gently pulling Larmina in his lap not letting her go.

"Daniel what's wrong with you." Lance said.

"Don't shoot him." Larmina said.

"We might have to." Keith said.

Pidge looks at his screen seeing Daniel's heartbeat was faster by two speed.

"Everyone put the weapons down." He said.

"Are you sure?" Allura asked.

"Trust me."

Everyone did so.

"He's protecting her."

"What?" Everyone said.

"From what?" Vince asked.

"Probably us." Pidge said. "His heartrate went faster a little, his infection might think Larmina is in danger."

"Daniel we're not going to hurt her."

Daniel tightened his arms.

"So the infection has a protection side." Keith said.

"It makes since when we was on crydor, Sven was protective over his son and he got protective/aggressive." Allura told.

"Come on Dan Man why would we hurt Larmina." Lance said with a smile.

Daniel blinks and his eyes went back to normal, he let's go of Larmina.

"Sorry." Daniel said.

"It's alright." Larmina said.

Now this is going to be more harder than before, there's a lot of things to haggarium.
