Wait, THIS was Loki? The man I'd heard so much about? Thors brother who tried to take over the whole world, who'd killed hundreds without a second thought? God, why did the villains always have to be so sexy?

I had never seen him before, thanks to my sheltered upbringing. I wasn't told about anything that didn't directly effect me. I had seen pictures of him, sure, but they didn't compare to the beauty standing in front of me. He looked slightly older now, stress evident on his face. The lines creasing around his eyes as his mouth moved, something I hadn't picked up on in the pictures. But I liked it. Older wasn't even the right word to describe how he had changed, it was more...matured. Like a fine wine.

"Surprise" He spoke sarcastically, in a smooth, deep voice I found almost enchanting. Wait, what am I thinking?! This is Loki! I don't care what Fury says, you don't get to do everything he's done, kill and ruin lives for your own gain, just to turn around and claim you're good now. No, I've gotta stay as far away from this guy as possible.

"You can't be serious! This guys a lunatic!" Clint shouts, the anger making his face red. The whole group is soon errupted into complaints and refusals, all talking over each other at Nick. I however, stay silent, just watching as Thor unties his handcuffs and walks with Loki to stand at the front, next to Nick.
"Everyone, I know this isn't ideal, but I promise you Loki has shown change. He is not the man he was before" Thor states confidentally. "He's shown change? What did he save a puppy?" Tony spits, shaking his head in disbelief.

"If I may explain myself-" Loki starts, quickly being cut off. "Zip it, Reindeer!" Tony states. Loki opens his mouth to retort, then slowly close it again, clearly noticing this wasn't the time to be clever.
"Listen to me! Loki will now be living here, while this collar restricts his powers he might as well be human. and you will all take it in turns to monitor him until we know we can trust him, and he will not leave the building until we do so. Am I clear?" Nick told us firmly.
The whole table again errupted into arguements, everyone clearly upset with the idea of babysitting this monster. I still kept quiet, as I always do, preferring to asses the situation then to add to it. My eyes glance up at Loki to see him staring back at me, his emerald eyes almost piercing my soul. I expected him to look away when we made eye contact, but he didn't. He kept staring. His face blank, except a small smirk forming on his lips.

"Agent Thomson" Nick snapped me out of our little staring match "Will you please show Loki to his quarters, since you're the only one acting sensible here" He added, clearly frustrated as even Thor has started arguing with the group.
Him, Wanda and Nick seemed to be the only ones willing to give Loki a chance, and I couldn't understand why they would.

I reluctantly stand up from my chair and walked over to them. Even when I hated my assignment, it wasn't in my nature to say no to my boss. Especially to Nick, after he pulled me out of that prison years back so I could come work for SHIELD, instead of just being a long running experiment for the doctors at the facility I was 'raised' at.
I noticed Loki raise his eyebrows as I stood, clearly shocked by my tall frame. I was used to being the tallest person in the room, ever since I hit puberty. It wasn't a massive difference, standing at 6'6. But it always seemed to intimidate men.

"He's in living quarters F" Nick told me as I approached. I nodded in response, knowing that if I opened my mouth, I'd be yelling just as much as everyone else. As captivating as he was, I knew this man had done atrocious things, and I knew the sooner he was in his quarters, the sooner I could get away from him. "And Agent! You're first to keep watch on him, you'll have to stay with him for now"
Fuck.

I again said nothing, not wanting to disappoint Fury.
"Hello, darling" Loki smirked at me as I got close to him. I couldn't deny, I liked his voice. It sent a tingle down my spine as he muttered the words. His face was even more handsome up close, even with the smug look.
"This way" I mumbled walking towards the door, making sure he was walking next to me.

"I don't believe we've met before, I'm Loki" He speaks as we both walk down the hallway. "I know" I state, staring straight ahead. "Do you have a first name, Agent Thomson?" He asked, I could almost hear the smirk on his face.
"Yin." I replied plainly, still looking ahead. "That's a beautiful name, nice to meet you Yin" he spoke, his voice like melted butter.

I felt so conflicted, knowing he had done terrible things, but also feeling so attracted to him. Just his presence around me made me feel electric, and as much as I tried to hide it I think he could tell he was having an effect on me.
We soon arrive to his door, and I get out my ID again to access it.
"So, what are your superpowers then? To get on this cute little team" he asked. I ignore him and open the door and step inside.
The quarters were modest, a small living area with a built in kitchen, a door which led to a bathroom, and another which led to the bedroom.

He follows me into the living room and I shut the door behind him. I'm now officially alone with him.
"Are you always going to be this dull?" He asks, rolling his eyes slightly.
That's it. Without thinking I grab his wrist and spin him around, pushing him into the living room wall, My hand on his throat stops him from moving. "Listen, I have no intention of spending more time with you then I need to, just because your brother trusts you doesn't mean I do. I'm here to stop you leaving, other then that, I don't give a shit about you" I spit, my anger bubbling over.

He's silent for a moment, before he grins back at me, a glimmer in his eye. Before I even realize what's happening, he grabs my hand and pulls it from his throat, he spins us both around and pushes me against the wall. He places his hand on my throat like he's going to choke me, but he doesn't squeeze, merely holding me in place. His body mere inches from mine, his legs entangled with mine. He brings his face closer, the same grin still plastered on his face. "You're a feisty one, aren't you" he says, barely louder then a whisper. The closer he gets, the more electric I feel, adrenaline like I've never felt coursing through your whole body. My heart is pounding and my legs feel weak. What is he doing to you? Snap out of it, Yin!
He's so close I can feel his breath on my face as he muttered "Like it or not, we're partners now."
