Chapter 4 - "You're a funny one, you."

"Drrrrnngg." the bell rang. Okay, school is over, enjoy your summer break everyone." the teacher said.

"Finally.. I.. can.. go home.. I'm tired as hell!" Eren grabs his bag and runs outside. The sun shines on his skin and a smile appeared on his face.

"Haaah, such a nice day! Maybe I should go for a walk."

"Yo Eren, can I go with you?" Jean suddenly asks out of nowhere.

"Woaah!" Eren turns around and sees Jean standing behind him. Jean makes a surpised face and laughs, "Heh, did I scare you that bad? I won't bite you, you know." 

Eren blushed embarrassedly, "I-It's not that! Anyway, if you want to walk, then take a walk." 

Jean smiled, "You forgot to add 'with me'.

Eren made a pissed-off face, "Yeah, okay."

They start walking at the park as Eren watches the shiny river with little ducks and a mother duck on it.

"This park is so beautiful, do you walk here often, Jean?" Eren asks smiling.

"Yeah, to say the truth, it's the first time I'm walking here with a friend."

He looked at me with a smile.

"First time? You don't invite your other friends?" Eren curiously asked.

"Not really, they go to the karaoke or go on a date with their girlfriends."

Eren looked at Jean open-eyed, "Don't you have a girlfriend?"

Jean stops walking, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" 

Jean suddenly bursts out laughing. Eren looks surprised and freaked-out, "W-why are you laughing?" 

Jean wiped his tears of laughter, "Hahaha, sorry sorry. It's just that it's the first time a guy asked me that." 

Eren blinked. "F-first time? Isn't that a normal question?" 

Jean smiled. "Yeah, sure it is. I just had to laugh for some reason. But nope, I don't have a girlfriend."

''Oh I see. Let's continue walking, Jean." 

Jean smiled. "Haha yeah." he said nodding.

"Eren."

"Yes?"

"My friends and me are going to a karaoke, mind if I invite you?" He smiled at Eren.

"Karaoke..?"

"Yeah!"

"Ehehe... sure."

Jean looks at Eren with a confused look on his face, "Have you never been to karaoke before?"

Eren's face suddenly turned red. He looks at the river so Jean wouldn't see his red face, "Of course I was!" 

Jean laughs, "That's weird, answering while looking at the river."

"Shut up!" Eren shouted blushy. Jean tapped Eren's head, "You're a funny one, you."
