Chapter 10 - "Shut up"

"Levi... are you ...?" Eren couldn't clearly believe it. Levi turned to Eren throwing his dark-green coat away to one of the persons who greeted him. He has a black suit on with a black tie, and a belt around his waist.
"Yeah. I'm the mayor of these polices." Levi said with a steady expression.

Eren's eyes slowly widened.

Eren stands still and shocked. All the polices got to work after Levi ordered them.

"Oi Eren, are you going to stay like an idiot this whole time?" Levi said as he sits on his bureau placing his legs on the table. Eren walks up to Levi and bows which made Levi confused.

Eren tightly closes his eyes and opens his mouth to speak.

"Please! Let me work with you, Levi!" 

There was an awkward silence which made Eren nervous.

"Aren't you a bit too young, brat?" was Levi's response. Eren embarrassed angried.
He knocks on Levi's table with both of his hands and looks deep in Levi's eyes.
"Please!" he begs earnest with a high tone. Eren's begging request made Levi's eyes widen a bit. The polices around watch Eren with a surprised look.

"It's okaaay, isn't it?!" a woman shouts out of nowhere before everyone turn to her. She walks up to Eren placing her arm on his shoulder and squeezing his head tightly. Levi curses in his breaths without looking at the woman.

"Can't... breathe..." Eren mumbles with a blue face. 

 "Just accept it captain! Don't you think he looks too cute to be refused?" the woman squeezes Eren's cheeks showing to Levi. The captain just watches Eren's squeezing face like a deadpan and looks at the other side irritatedly.

"Tch... fine. whatever." Levi replies standing up walking ahead. Eren's face turns happy and relieved.
"Yahooo!" the woman shouts shaking Eren's head without realizing it which made Eren dizzy.
"Ah, Levi! Thank you very much!" Eren thanked as the woman let him go. Levi's head turns to Eren. "Prepare your ass, you damn brat." Levi said and with that he left to his office. Eren jumps out of his skin.
"What... does he mean by that?"
The woman laughs, "Don't worry, don't worry! He always uses weird lines. By the way, I'm Hanji!" Hanji grabs Eren's hand and shakes it continually.
"Thank you for before, Hanji!" Eren happily shakes back. A man walks up to Eren and Eren looks up at the tall man. He shows his hand to Eren.
"I'm Erwin, Levi's assistant. I look forward to working with you, Eren." Erwin said smiling. Eren makes a face of amazement and shakes his hand.
"Likewise, Erwin!" everyone walks up to Eren to introduce themselves and Eren enjoys it.
"Here. This is your uniform. I know it will fit you looking at your body." Petra said smiling giving the police uniform to Eren. Eren picks up the uniform from Petra's hands speechless.
"T-thank you!" he thanked looking at the uniform. Hanji pushes Eren to the bathroom.
"This is the bathroom. Put it on, Eren!" she leaves enthusiastic. Eren gives a small smile. Eren watches the uniform smiling and presses it against his chest with eyes closed.
"Finally..."
He puts the clothes on and leaves the bathroom standing in front of the polices.
"Woaah Eren! It looks good on youu~" Hanji walks up to Eren resting her arm on his shoulder.
"Y-you think so..." Eren blushinly smiled. Levi walks out of his office giving papers to his assistant, Erwin. He looks at Eren glancing him from toe to head before he looks to the other side.
"Hanji, show him everything how's shit goes on here."
"Roger!" Hanji pulls Eren's arm and leaves. Erwin walks up to Levi.
"Are you sure, Levi?" he asks with a serious tone. Levi doesn't say anything and leaves back to his office closing the door.

Telephone rings on Levi's table and Levi picks it up.

"Hello with the police." Levi replies and freaks out by the high voice through the telephone.
"Please help!! There' are 3 men in my house and i'm hiding now! Please please help me!" Levi stands up putting his coat on.
"Okay, we're coming. Tell me your address please."
After the woman told her address, Levi hangs off the telephone and leaves his office picking up his radio. "Looks like someone overtaking a woman's house. Erwin, Hanji, get in the car." after Levi explains the address, he leaves the basement and steps next to Erwin in the car where Hanji and Eren sit in the back and Erwin at the wheel. Levi notices Eren in the small mirror.
"Who said Ere-" Hanji directly presses her hand against Levi's mouth which made Levi shiver of surprise.
"It's fine, right? Erwin, let's go!" Erwin nods and starts the car. Eren nervously looks out of the window.

When they arrive, Levi directly opens the car and steps out and same for Hanji, Eren and Erwin. Eren looks at Erwin, Hanji and Levi's faces which are full of seriousness. Eren changes his face straight-forward and stoic to be prepared.

"My first mission... I'll do my best!"

The four prepare their pistols as they enter the house which Levi kicked the door with his leg. They look around to find the woman. Eren's eyes watch all the corners and notices a closet moving a little and same for Levi. Eren and Levi walk to the closet and Eren opens it and surprised when he sees a woman's crying face with a baby in her arms.
"Oh finally! Please help us... the men are upstairs and I think they are stealing my stuff!" Eren directly nods and Levi quietly runs upstairs while Eren follows him. 
Hanji holds the baby and Erwin helps the woman to stand up.
"How long were you in that closet?" Hanji asks looking at the baby.
"I think an hour or so... but don't worry, I've fed my baby with my breast!" 

Hanji gives a relieved smile. Erwin awkwardly stands there.

"Are they going to be okay...?" the woman asks worriedly. Hanji makes a big grin showing her thumb to the woman.
"Don't worry! Captain is with him so it's going to be okay!"

As Levi and Eren slowly walk to the door, they show their pistols entering the room.
"Raise your hands, you piece of shits." Levi said with a death look on his face. The tall men with black clothes jump out of their skin as they slowly turn to Levi and Eren and smirk.
"Haaa? Ya think shorties like you are match for us?!" the criminals laugh like crazy and walk up to the two with knives. Eren nervously walks back still pointing his pistol.

"Damn, I can't kill them...! he thought, his body sweating.

Levi, on the other hand, doesn't move a feet which made Eren more nervous.

"Watch out your mouth."

The men made a confused look, "Haa?"

Levi runs with a high speed around the tall men kicking their faces causing the men fall on the floor.
"Y-you bastard!" a man behind Levi said picking up one of the knives and trying to kill Levi.
As Levi turns around, the man screams when a bullet enters his hand.

"S-sorry... I didn't know what to do..." Eren nervously walks ahead.
Levi surprised watches Eren and smirks, "Now tie them up, Eren."
"Yes!" Eren picks the handcuffs and fastens the dizzy men's hands. As they go downstairs with the criminals, the woman relievedly smiles and bows.
"Thank you so much... I don't have words how much I'm thankful!" Eren gives a smile scratching the back of his head. Levi drags the two men and calls Petra.
"Petra, we need a car. Come to the address where we are now."
"Yes, captain!" Petra replies.
Hanji gives the baby back to the mother, "Take good care of him!"

The woman nods. "Yes!"

Erwin walks up to Eren showing his hand, "Good work, Eren." 

Eren directly shakes his hand, "Yes! Good work!"
Levi's eyes turn to Eren.
"Oi Eren."
"Y-yes?"
"It's good to have the balls to go, but don't forget to do your damnest." Levi said like a deadpan.
"Haa?! Didn't I save you when that man almost killed you?!" Eren irritatedly reacts. Levi looks away. 
"Shut up."

And walks away slightly smiling.
