Chapter 3 The Honeymoon

Mira's P.O.V.

It's been a couple of days since the wedding, and it has been a grand time. Embry and I have just been chilling inside the house mostly, Sam gives us, well Embry, a break so that we could spend our new life together by ourselves. Dad gave us privacy and let us relax inside my room, nobody had really come and bothered us, which was nice. Bella is usually with Edward or at the Cullen's, I get text messages from Rosalie and how much she wants her gone.

Embry and I sat on my bed, well, I guess our bed. We were going through our wedding gifts from everyone. I held up an envelope which was thick, I furrowed my brows as I held it up so that he could see it. He shrugged his shoulders, he said "Who's it from?", as he sat down next to me. I shrugged my shoulders, trying to find a name but didn't find any.

I opened the envelope and two tickets plus a voucher dropped out onto my lap. I blinked a couple of times, Embry grabbed the voucher while I grabbed the two tickets. I was shocked that they were plane tickets, there was a note and it said 'Hope you enjoy them'. The tickets are going to Switzerland, and it was for Burgenstock Resort, which cost a lot. It was kinda funny since it's a couple of days before Bella's wedding and it's a week for the vacation.

I smiled up at Embry, I said "Guess we are going to Switzerland for our honeymoon, babe. Plus, we will be missing Bella's wedding and missing all that drama". Embry's brows scrunched up as he said "Don't you want to go to her wedding?". I shook my head, I said "Not really. Did you see what she wore to ours? She wore a white dress". Embry slowly nodded his head, he said "Whatever you want to do, babe", as he smiled at me. He leaned over and gave my lips a quick peck before we went through the other gifts.

We both heard dad come into the house from downstairs, we made our way down the steps and over to the couch where dad was sitting. Dad looked up at us with a smile, he said "How are my grandchildren?", as he smiled at my swollen stomach. I smiled at him as I placed a hand on my bump, I said "They are going fine. We just wanted to let you know that for our honeymoon, we are going to Switzerland. Someone gave us tickets to a resort there. It's also a few days before Bella's wedding and will last a week". Shock was written on his pale face, he said "Well, I'm okay with it. Hope you guys have a fun time", as he smiled at the two of us. We smiled at him, Embry said "Thanks for understanding, Charlie".

I went into the kitchen and started to make dinner for the three of us since Bella will be with Edward at his house, she would probably snack on things that they have for Embry and me when we go over there since she doesn't like eating Esme's yummy food. I found some salmon in the fridge and started to cook it for us to eat with a side of sweet potatoes. Embry had come in and set the table so that we could eat, he also carried all the dishes over to the table, saying it would be too heavy. It made me feel gooey inside, I tried to hide the smile on my face as I sat down at the table.

When everyone sat down to eat, we all dug in. I felt Embry's hand stiffen on my thigh, I looked at him in confusion but it soon was wiped off when Bella walked in with Edward. Bella looked at us and said "You didn't text me that you were having dinner", as a pout formed on her thin lips. Dad raised a brow and said, "When we usually eat, you tend to eat out. I thought you would eat at Edwards house. You can have some. Mira cooked some salmon and sweet potatoes".

Bella crinkled up her nose, she said "I hate fish, you know that! If you were going to eat, you should have made burgers or ordered pizza". Dad looked at her with a blank look, he said "Mira made this since it will be good for her babies. She can't really have lots of meat and the pepperoni on the pizza gives her bad heartburn". Bella glared over at me, she said "Don't push your needy food onto us! It's not our fault that you were knocked up by Embry!". Edward shifted into his spot that was behind Bella, he must have read Embry's mind, since he was staring at Bella with murder in his eyes, Edward was focused on Embry.
