Mugwump:  a person who is unable to make up his or her mind on an issue, especially in politics.

"Life is short, break the rules.  Forgive quickly, kiss slowly.  Love truly.  Laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that makes you smile".

- Mark Twain

Mira's P.O.V.

I drove back to my house with a small grin on my face. When I pulled into the garage, Embry had opened the garage door with an urgent look on his face. He closed the door as he had the boys strapped to his front and back in the baby backpack carrier. He said, "Jacob just howled. He told us that we need to have a meeting. So, let's go to Emily's while she can watch them as we go and shift to meet everyone".

I nodded my head as I played with Charles's feet that were hanging from the carrier, he gave me a gummy smile. Charles was more of a daddy's boy while Anthony was more of a momma's boy. Charles loved to be with Embry and Anthony loved being with me. When Charles threw fits and I would go, he would still scream until Embry came. It was the same with Anthony but switched.

They also looked a lot like Embry, the same facial features, eyes, nose, and lips, plus the hair. They barely look like me, but who knows, maybe they'll get my humor. Hopefully, because Embry's humor is more on the corny side while I actually have a sense of humor. It's so cute how they look just like him, every time I see them, I see Embry in them. Embry says that when we get our baby girl, she'll look just like me, beautiful from the inside out.

We grabbed the baby go-bag and loaded everything in the car, we placed the babies in the infant car seats since they are way too young for regular ones. Once we were all loaded up, we headed to Emily's house. We played classical music since the babies loved it, plus it makes them go to sleep a lot faster. Once we had reached Emily and Sam's, we quickly and carefully carried the two sleeping babes into the house. Emily smiled at us as we took the sleeping babies out of their carriers and put them on her couch, placing a blanket over them.

Emily said, "I'll take good care of them. Now, go on". We both nodded our heads before exiting out the back door and shifting once we reached the woods, we quickly followed where the voices of the pack were. We quickly came to a logging site, Sam was on a pile of logs while we were around him, Jacob was in front of us. Everyone was talking over each other, it was starting to give me a headache. The others were growling at Jacob besides Seth, who was very clueless.

They were saying that the baby is an abomination and that it shouldn't be allowed to live. I felt my heartache at the mention of killing an innocent baby, trying not to imagine losing my babies that were at Sam's house. Sam was on top of the large pile of logs, he thought 'We have to protect the tribe. What they've bred won't be able to control its thirst. Every human will be in danger'. Jared walked up closer, he thought 'We're ready". Leah was quick to respond, she thought 'No time to waste'.

Jacob pushed through Leah and Jared, he thought 'Now?'. Sam stood taller, he thought 'We must destroy it before it's born'. Seth, who was very innocent, thought 'You mean, kill Bella?'. Sam's lips raised into a snarl, he thought 'Her choice affects us all'. I felt my heart sink, Embry must have known since he came over to me and nudged me with his snort, giving me kisses. This didn't go unnoticed by the others, because they looked over at me with a sad look.

Jacob, who completely ignored my sad expression, thought 'Bella's human. Our protection applies to her'. Leah growled at him as she got in his face, she thought 'She's dying anyway!'. That just made the two start to fight each other. Sam growled before stalking down the logs, he thought 'We have real enemies to fight tonight'. Jacob was shocked at hearing this, Sam thought 'You will fight with us, Jake'. Sam was using his alpha voice, making the rest of us cower and back away.
