The two stew over the startling revelation, dread slowly building around them. Layla has never really had a good grasp on her powers until recently so she never understood how vital the information she had was.

Telling Heimdall was a good start but Heimdall wouldn't be enough to stop him. She needed people who had powers like hers. She needed an army.

While Asgard had an army, he had several species of warriors under his thumb.

Layla didn't know many people but she did know one group of super-powered beings. The only problem was the visions she had seen while knocked unconscious. There was no way she was ready to go back to that but it seemed like she didn't have a choice.

There was more than one thing Layla needed to warn the Avengers about.

The first was him, and the second was much more pressing, days away from happening.

The Second Head was ready to launch a counterstrike.

While Layla was the strongest weapon that the Second Head had, she wasn't their only weapon. The discovery of Layla had opened TSH's eyes to a whole new world of possibilities. A world where nations were destroyed, controlled, and manipulated however they wanted.

Still a little wobbly, Layla rises to her feet. She levels Heimdall with a concerned gaze, "I need to warn the Avengers about him. I have to go back to Earth now or it may be too late."

"Are you sure you're feeling up to it?" Heimdall asks, steading the girl as she trips over her own feet while making her way towards the rainbow bridge.

"I'm tired of sitting back and doing nothing. I need to stop him. I don't have a choice. It seems like I am the only one outside of his control that is aware of his plan. I need to warn people."

Heimdall shakes his head sadly. Although Layla had progressed tremendously throughout her time in Asgard she still had a fatal flaw. Layla Chase-Mason didn't value her life. Heimdall had seen many a hero like her, too willing to sacrifice everything for the great good of others.

Layla had never had the chance to live her life, so Heimdall especially hated seeing the young woman go down this path.

"I will support you...Whatever you decide I will stand by your decision." He hated saying it. The words tasting like venom on his tongue, but he had a duty to the universe and Asgard as well. His stomach turns at the thought of Layla's future but what choice did he have? It's not like he could lock her up again. The girl had been through enough.

It was time she chose her own destiny.

"I'm sorry. I can't let you leave." The booming voice of Odin startles the two. Heimdall hadn't even sensed the approach of the All-father.

But gazing upon the aging man it was clear to see why.

The golden energy that was supposed to enshroud and protect Layla was now pulsing around Odin's figure. His uncovered eye revealed galaxies upon galaxies. Galaxies that only Layla was privy to.

Hands shaking by her side, Layla straightens her back, "You can't keep me here."

A smile creeps onto his wrinkled face, "Oh, but I can." And before a single soul can react, a beam of golden energy is shooting towards the two all-seeing beings.

Heimdall dives to the side, grasping Layla by the waist and pulling her down with him. Head whipping around, Layla observes the destruction her powers have granted the All-father. A gaping hole the size of a horse-drawn carriage decorates the side of the observatory. The sword which opens the Bifrost was barely missed, the handle of Hofund sparking with the same chaos energy.
