"What if it's a trap?" Natasha snaps, slamming the paper down on the table.

"What if it's not? What if she's being held against her will?" Tony shouts back, now rid of his suit as he paces in front of the group.

"Stark- we can't be sure." Steve answers calmly, attempting to put out the fire before it starts.

"Exactly."

"So what do you suggest we do then?" Clint sighs, not exactly on board but not willing to fight about it.

"The same thing we did last time. We find her- and we help her."

"We don't even know who has her. What if she's dangerous? What if she's being contained for a reason?" Nat growls, against the idea completely. There were too many strange things in the world, too many strange things that she herself had been involved in to not be skeptical of the girl.

"That's why Coulson sent us to do this. If she's dangerous we can't let Hydra have her."

"What if it's not Hydra?" Bruce speaks up. They all turn to him, their eyebrows raised.

Resting his hands on his hips, Steve approaches Bruce, "What do you mean?"

"I'm just saying- this attack- if we can even call it that- it isn't Hydra's style. There were no guards, no bloodshed, nothing really that indicates that Hydra is responsible. It was a stealth attack. What if whoever has her- isn't Hydra? What if there's a new party?"

Shaking his head, Steve wrings his hands together nervously, "We can't be sure of that. We can't be sure of anything." He nods towards Stark, finally giving in, "What do you need us to do?"

Stark freezes, his shocked expression turning into a smirk, "Give me a day. I'll find her."

Bruce sighs, placing a hand on Tony's shoulder to get his attention, "You mean we'll find her."

Tony and Bruce exchange a brief nod before retreating to the lab. More than likely concocting an algorithm in order to find the girl. Nat plops down on the sofa, kicking her feet up as she pulls her weapons out of her utility belt. "You don't think finding her is the right thing to do?"

Nat frowns, "No. It's just- I don't think this is the right way. Something doesn't feel right about this girl."

Clint sighs, falling beside Nat on the couch, "Well until we can do anything about the girl- what should we call her? We can't just keep calling her the girl."

"Coulson did say her name was Atë, or at least that's what SHIELD has begun to call her. Whatever her name really is doesn't matter right now. Do we have an idea of what her powers are?" Nat chuckles, rolling her eyes good-naturedly.

Sitting in the seat across from them, Steve rests his shield against the leg of his chair, "She was able to freeze Tony and me, while transporting our minds elsewhere. She did the same with all those other men who disappeared- along with her."

"So, basically mind control and teleportation."

Steve shrugs, "We don't know exactly what it is, there could be more."

Barton rolls his eyes, twirling his finger in a circle, "Whipee."

"I'm sure Tony is coming up with a more fitting name as we speak." Nat quips, flicking a strand of red hair over her shoulder.

The super soldier sighs, rubbing his gloved hands together, "I just hope we can help her."
