"I had you looking in the wrong section!" Hermione exclaims. "How could I be so stupid? I checked this out a few weeks ago for a bit of light reading." She drops a massive book on the table.
"This is light?" Ron asks, furrowing his eyebrows.
"Of course!" Hermione chuckles. "Here it is! 'Nicholas Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone!"
"The what?" Harry and Ron ask.
"The Philosopher's Stone! I had read about it, but I never knew who made it!" Aurora nods with Hermione. "It's this legendary substance that turns any metal into pure gold, and it makes the Elixer of Life, which makes the drinker immortal!"
"Immortal?" Ron asks.
"It means you'll never die," Hermione exclaims.
"I know what it means!" Ron rolls his eyes.
"Shh!" Harry exclaims.
"'The only Stone currently in existence belongs to Mr. Nicholas Flamel, the noted alchemist, who last year celebrated his 665th birthday!'" Hermione reads. "That's what Fluffy's guarding on the 3rd floor. That's what's under the trapdoor...the Philosopher's Stone!"
Harry, Ron, and Hermione look at each other and begin to run off.
"Wait, we're running? I'm not physically prepared for this!" Aurora exclaims before chasing after them. They get to Hagrid's hut, and Hagrid opens the door.
"Hagrid!" Harry shouts.
"Oh, hello. Sorry, I don't wish to be rude, but I'm in no fit state to entertain today," Hagrid sighs and begins closing the door.
"We know about the Philosopher's Stone!" Aurora, Hermione, Ron, and Harry exclaim, causing Hagrid to open the door again.
"Oh," he mutters and opens the door wider. The four of the kids enter his hut.
"We think Snape's trying to steal it," Harry tells Hagrid.
"Snape? Blimey, Harry, you're not still on about him, are you?" Hagrid scoffs.
"Hagrid, we know he's after the Stone!" Harry exclaims. "We just don't know why."
"Snape is one of the teachers protecting the Stone!" Hagrid defends Professor Snape.
"He's not about to steal it!"
Aurora remembers her suspicion of Quirrell, but she realizes that she must be delusional. What if Quirrell is one of the teachers protecting the stone.
"What?" Harry asks.
"You heard. Right. Come on. Now, I'm a bit preoccupied today," Hagrid exasperatedly sighs.
"Wait a minute, one of the teachers?" Harry asks.
"Of course! Other things are defending the Stone, aren't there?" Hermione asks as she sits down. "Spells, enchantments." Fang goes by Aurora and rubs his head against her. She begins to rub him.
"That's right. Waste of bloody time, if you ask me," Hagrid scoffs. "Ain't no one gonna get past Fluffy. Hehe, not a soul knows how except for Dumbledore and me. I shouldn't have told you that. I shouldn't have told you that." There is then a crackle in the fireplace. "Oh!" Hagrid runs over and grabs the thing in the fireplace and places it on the table. Aurora realizes it's a dragon egg.
"Uh, Hagrid, what exactly is that?" Harry asks.
"That? It's a ... its um..." Hagrid trails, unsure of what to tell the kids.
"I know what that is! But Hagrid, how did you get one?" Ron asks Hagrid with widened eyes.
"I won it. Off a stranger, I met down at a pub. Seemed quite glad to be rid of it, as a matter of fact," Hagrid explains. Just then, the egg cracks. And then a baby dragon hops out.
"Aww," Aurora smiles.
"Is that...a dragon?" Hermione asks.
"That's not just a dragon," Ron grins. "That's a Norwegian Ridgeback! My brother Charlie works with these in Romania!"
"Isn't he beautiful?" Hagrid compliments the dragon. "Oh. Bless him, look. He knows his mummy. Hehe. Hello, Norbert." Norbert makes a noise at Hagrid.
"Norbert?" Harry asks with a chukle.
"Yeah, well, he's got to have a name, doesn't he?" Hagrid nods at the brunette boy. Ron laughs. "Don't you, Norbert?" Hagrid rubs Norbert softly. Norbert backs up from Hagrid and then hiccups. He then blasts a bit of fire into Hagrid's bead.
"Ohh!" Hagrid yelps. "Well, he'll have to be trained up a bit, of course." Hagrid then looks out the window. "Who's that?" Aurora looks out the window and recognizes the platinum blonde hair.
"Oh, no!" Aurora exclaims. She runs out as Draco scurries away. Hermione, Ron, and Harry chase after her.
"Malfoy!" Aurora shouts as she chases him. "Malfoy."
She is then met by almost crashing into McGonagall, who is standing arms crossed. Ron, Harry, and Hermione appear behind a bit after.
"Shoot," Hermione mutters.
"Good evening," McGonagall glares.
Malfoy comes up next to her with a smirk.

"Nothing, I repeat, nothing gives a student the right to walk about the school at night!".
McGonagall shouts. "Therefore, as punishment for your actions, 40 points will be taken."
"40?!" Harry shouts.
"Each," McGonagall adds. "And to ensure it doesn't happen again all five. of you will receive a detention."
Malfoy's smug smirk disappears. He asks, "Excuse me, Professor. Perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said, 'the five of us.'?"
"No, you heard me correctly, Mr. Malfoy," McGonagall tells him. "You see, as honorable as your intentions were, you too were out of bed after hours. You will serve detention with your classmates."
Aurora snorts a bit as McGonagall bursts his bubble.

◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤◢◤

"A pity they let the old punishments die," Filch sighs. "There was a time detention would find you hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons. God, I miss the screaming." Aurora looks weirdly at the man. Draco gulps loudly, and Aurora furrows her eyebrows at him. "You'll be serving detention with Hagrid tonight. He's got a little job to do inside the dark forest." Hagrid walks up, holding a crossbow. He looks sad. "A sorry lot this, Hagrid. Oh, good God, man, you're not still on about that bloody dragon, are you?"
"Norbert's gone," Hagrid sniffles. "Dumbledore sent him off to Romania to live in a colony."
"Well, that's good, isn't it?" Hermione asks. "He'll be with his own kind."
"Yeah, but what if he doesn't like Romania?" Hagrid asks, earning an eye-roll from Filch. "What if the other dragons are mean to him? He's only a baby, after all."
"Oh, for God's sake, pull yourself together, man," Filch groans. "You're going into the forest, after all. Got to have your wits about you."
"The forest?" Malfoy yelps. "I thought that was a joke! We can't go in there. Students aren't allowed. And there are... werewolves!" He shudders as he hears a howl in the distance.
"There's more than werewolves in those trees, lad. You can be sure of that," Filch smirks. Dracos shakes a lot. "Nighty-night." Filch leaves and goes to the castle. "Right. Let's go," Hagrid sighs.
The six of them walk into the Forbidden Forest. Hagrid then bends over and dips his fingers into a silver puddle. He rubs his fingers together.
"Hagrid, what's that?" Harry asks.
"What we're here for," Hagrid replies. "See that? That's unicorn's blood, that is. I found one dead a few weeks ago. Now, this one's been injured badly by something. So, it's our job to find the poor beast. Ron, Hermione, you'll come with me. And Harry, you'll go with Malfoy and Aurora." Draco and Aurora glared at each other.
"Okay. Then I get Fang!" Draco exclaims, grabbing Fang's leash.
"Fine. Just so you know, he's a bloody coward," Hagrid chuckles.
Harry, Aurora, and Draco walk deeper into the Forbidden Forest as Draco clutches Fang's leash.
"You wait till my father hears about this. This is servant's stuff," Malfoy scoffs, and Aurora rolls her eyes with a smirk playing on her lips.
"Okay, Malfoy, you're just saying that because you're scared," Aurora chuckles.
"Am not. You don't know what you're talking about, Watson," Malfoy points his finger at Aurora. Then, there is a howl, and Malfoy jumps onto Aurora and clings to her.
"Oh, yeah. You're definitely not scared," Aurora nods sarcastically as Draco continues to hold on to her.
"Let's keep going," Harry rolls his eyes as Aurora pushes Draco off of her and follows Harry. Draco looks around a bit, then down at Fang. Then, a twig breaks, and Draco runs after Aurora and Harry. They reach an opening, and Fang starts to growl.
"What is it, Fang?" Harry asks.
"Maybe it's monsters that like to feed on blonde boys," Aurora suggests with a laugh. Draco just glared at her. Harry looks ahead and sees a cloaked figure bending over a dead unicorn, drinking its blood. Harry then lets out a yelp and touches his scar.
Draco then grabs Aurora's hand and runs in the opposite direction.
"Malfoy! Malfoy!" Aurora shouts at him. "Let me go!
Eventually, the two reach the edge of the forest.
"Malfoy!" Aurora shouts. "Why would you do that? Now poor Harry is in the forest alone! Why did you even drag me with you!"
"I don't know! I was scared for my life! Did you see that thing?!" Draco shouts back at her.
"Malfoy, do you realize how irritating you are?" Aurora growls at him with a glare.
"I just saved your life, Watson. So I'd be quiet if I were you!" Malfoy points his finger at her with angry eyes.
"You didn't save crap! I would've been fine!" Aurora rolls her eyes and folds her arms.
"Okay, then next time, I won't help you!" He glares at her.
"Fine!" Aurora shouts.
"Fine!" Draco yells and then storms off
