"He did what?" Bucky yells.

"Bucky calm down! I took care of it."

"What do you mean you took care of it? Did you kill him? Cause if not then you didn't take care of it!" He continues yelling.

"Bucky I'm not going to kill him. Now calm the hell down before you piss me off."

"You should already be pissed. He kissed you y/n! He knows we're engaged and that you're pregnant and yet he still tried to take you away!"

"No one is taking me away Bucky!!" I finally yell. "No one is taking me away because I chose you. I still choose you and I always will. What do I have to do to prove to you that I'm not going anywhere? I don't care what Loki offers or wants. I'm happy with you. I love you. Not him. So why does it matter?"

"He tried to take you and my baby away!"

"Our baby Bucky! It's ours. Yours and mine. And we will both raise it together because we love each other and we will be married!" I walk over to him and rest my hands on his cheeks. "Are you happy?" I ask.

"You know damn well I'm not happy right now."

"That's not what I mean and you know it. Are you happy Bucky? With me. With the baby. Here with the avengers."

"Yes." He finally says calmly.

"Then don't worry about Loki. He will come around. And until then we have a baby to get ready for. And we should probably start planning that wedding." I say looking into his eyes. He chuckles before a small smile settles into his face.

"I love you." He says gently.

"I love you too bubba." I place my hands in his hair as I pull him into a kiss. He kisses me as if he's afraid he will never be able to again. "I'm right here Buck. Im not going anywhere." I say into the kiss. I feel him hug me to him harder but I pull away. "Not right now." I walk over to the door and motion for him to follow. We make our way to the kitchen where the rest of the avengers are making breakfast.

"Hey lovebirds, Steve made pancakes." Nat says as she sits at the table. I notice Loki and Bucky glaring at each other as he tightens his grip on my hand. I gently elbow him in the side before shooting Loki a death glare. I pull Bucky over to the counter to make a plate.

"Y/n I want Bruce to do a work up on you. See how far along you are." Tony says.

"Do you have any symptoms yet?" Pepper asks.

"Morning sicknesses. Weird appetite. Moody." Bucky says before I kick him under the table. "Ow!" He says. Everyone else laughs.

"Shut up before you sleep on a couch." I say before diving into my pancakes.

"See what I mean?" Bucky whispers. I roll my eyes in response but otherwise ignore him.

After breakfast I follow Bruce downstairs to the med lab and lay on the bed. He pulls out an ultrasound machine as Bucky sits next to me. Steve is leaning against the doorway on the other side of the room as Bruce places the cold gel on my stomach. I shiver as I feel it but Bucky shushes me.

"Let's have a look." Bruce says as he moves the wand around on my belly. "There it is" he points.

"Holy shit is that it's

"Holy shit is that it's..."

"Bucky!! It's a leg." I smack him. I notice a semi worried look on Bruce's face. "Bruce?"

"It looks as if you are 5 months along."

"What? But I'm barely showing. I only found out a week ago that I was pregnant."

"I'm guessing the mix of your asgardian blood plus the super soldier serum in both you and Bucky is changing the pregnancy.  It's going a lot quicker than expected." He informs me.

"Is it okay?" I ask.

"The baby is fine. But this will have difficult effects on your body."

"Like what?" Bucky asks defensive.

"At the baby's rate of growth and the strength that it already has, your body may not be able to handle it." Bruce says sadly.

"What does that mean?" Bucky yells.

"I won't survive the birth." I look over at Bucky and then back at Bruce. "That's what you're saying? It will kill me?"

"There is no way to know for sure." I see his eyes tear up as Steve walks over.

"What can we do?" He asks.

"Nothing can be done right now. You rest, and we make sure you stay healthy." Bruce says.

"Okay." I say simply. I fight the tears that are threatening to fall. "Do we... do we know when it's due?" I ask.

"At this rate the baby will be fully developed in about 2 months."

"Can I have a minute?" I ask. Bruce nods before he leaves, followed by Steve. Bucky tries to stay but I tell him to go. After they leave I walk over to Bruce's desk and grab a sheet of paper and a pen as I finally let the tears fall. I write a quick note before taking it up to put in a box under my bed.

I won't be able to meet my child. But I will make sure they know their mom loves them.
