Chapter 12: Best Day

Chloe pov.

"What?" I ask confused. Eight years ago was when I lost my sight. 'how did she know?'

"I knew you would come to me to get your eyesight back, and I didn't even prepare for it. It will take me about a day to make something that will help. You can stay here if you want." she says and I don't really know how to react.

"Wait, h-how did you know?" I ask completely confused.

"A magician never reveals their secrets." She says and I sigh a little. At least she's helping us. I lean my head in Matt's shoulder and he squeezes my hand.

"I have a spare bedroom upstairs. First door on the left." she says then walks out of the room. Matt and I both stand up and he leads me to the stairs making sure I don't trip over anything. We walk to the spare bedroom and I sit down on the bed. I lay back and smile a little.

"We're finally here." I say and laugh a little. Matt laughs a little too and hugs me. He pecks my lips you then hesitates a little.

"I need to tell you something Chloe. I wasn't sure about telling you before because I didn't know how you felt about me." He says and I peck his lips.

"I love you, what do you want to tell me?" I say smiling a little.

"Were mates. I knew the second I looked into your eyes." He says and I do do anything not knowing how to react.

"How long have you known?" I ask quietly.

"The first time I saw you in that cell. I wanted to get you out but I was to afraid of Jacob. I'm sorry I didn't help you sooner." He says and I kiss him.

"It's ok." I say and peck his lips. He hugs me tightly and I hug him back. After awhile I start to slowly fall asleep in his arms.

'this is the best day of my life.' I think to myself as I fall asleep.
