Percy's POV:

We made it through finals. WE MADE IT THROUGH FINALS! We drank 34 coffees each, pulled 8 all nighters, and studied for countless hours. And we got through the week of testing. We were all super happy about that but the relief only lasted for a while because something bigger and better was up next. Someone that was so important for us. Senior Prom. 

No biggie you know, just the last prom for entire life. So our happiness didn't last too long. Soon all of us got back into our stressful lives preparing our prom outfits and dates. Nico and I were going together obviously. Annabeth was going with Reyna, Leo with Will, Jason was with Piper, Frank and Hazel, and the Stoll Twins were going solo. And they were also pulling a senior prom prank. 

We all decided to shop for our outfits together as a group since it'd be fun to do it together. So we all met up at Piper's mom's boutique which she opened recently in Manhattan. Jason was giving me a ride there today. "Hey!" he greeted me as I got into his car. "Hello," I greeted him back. "You seem tense," he pointed out. In fact, I was. "Its nothing," I said trying to brush it off. "Perce. Its nothing is always code for there is something wrong," he replied.

"Well, you know we're graduating in like what? Another month? It just seems like everything is going so fast. You know I hate changes in life, now we'll go to college and before we know it we graduate, and we'll get a job, its just changing so quickly I can't stay on track." I blurted out.

"Well Perce, you don't need to stay on track just yet, and stop worrying about the future, worrying makes it go quicker, just...stay in the moment," he advised. I smiled, "Thanks Jase." We got to the boutique where Piper was waiting for us with Reyna and Annabeth, "Are the others not here yet?" asked Jason.

"Nope they're late," replied Annabeth. "Hey guys!" said a voice behind us. It was Silena, Piper's half-sister. "Silena?!" I said surprised. "Percy! Hi! How are you?" she greeted me with a hug. "I'm great, what are you doing here?" I asked. "Well mom put me as the manager here, oh by the way, she'll be here later," she said the last part to Piper. 

"We are so sorry we're late!" apologized Will. "Finally you're here," replied Piper jokingly. Nico came inside and engulfed me in a hug. "Sorry I'm late, we stopped for gas and traffic was horrible," he whispered. "Well lets have you guys look for outfits yeah?" asked Silena. "Let she show begin," yelled Leo, and we all laughed.

So we all roamed around the boutique for a while looking at the dresses and suits that were there. "Also! Couples cannot see each others outfits while you try them on!" shouted Silena, "Its a little tradition the seniors last year carried on." Nico and I were looking for ours together. "These all look great," Nico commented. "Yeah," I agreed. "Oh by the way, do you wanna match?" he asked. 

"That'd be nice! Lemme go ask Silena if there are any matching ones," I said, and walked to Silena. "Need any help?" she asked looking up from her phone. "Oh yeah, are there any matching suits?" I asked.

"Yep! Follow me," she led me towards a shelf in the back where suits were hanging. "I assume the things with Nico went well," she smiled. "Yeah heh, they are going well, thanks to the help you gave me," I replied, "Lemme go ask Nico what colors."

"Neeks, what color should we wear?" I asked Nico. "Uhh well, I was thinking blue and black? Represents us well," he replied. I smiled, "Okay! Come lets go check out some of the outfits." So we went and chose some that we liked. "Is everyone done picking a couple of outfits?" asked Piper. "Yeah," replied Jason. "Lets try them on! Who's going first?"

So we each tried on the outfits. And the date of the person trying them on would be blindfolded and wasn't allowed to see until the day of prom. Jason was going to wear a black and red suit, and Piper was wearing a red ballgown. Reyna was wearing a suit as well, a light blue one and Annabeth was wearing a white floor length dress. Will and Leo were wearing yellow suits. Finally it was my turn to try my suit on. I went into the changing room, and I had two options. First was a blue blazer, with a white shire, black vest, and black bow tie. "I'm coming out," I yelled. "Wait wait," yelled back Silena, "Okay come out now." I stepped out. "You look great!" Jason complimented. 

"I'd say you almost look better than Will," joked Leo earning a glare from Will. "Back off of my boyfriend Valdez," warned Nico, "Can I please see him? Its not like its our wedding." 

"Oooo~ Wanting to get married already?" teased Hazel. Nico blushed. I went back in and changed into the second outfit which was a satin blazer, with a black shirt and and blue tie. I liked this one more, since I knew how I could accessorize it. "Hows this?" I asked stepping out. Frank gasped, "Percy that perfect for you!" Everyone agreed with him so it was settled.

Next after me Hazel and Frank went. Hazel wore a pink dress, and Frank a black suit. Finally it was Nico's turn. He tried his outfit and everyone teased me too, rubbing in the fact that I can't see how good my boyfriend looks. Afterwards we all paid the bill and thats when Piper's mom showed up. "Hello my lovelies!" she greeted. She was pretty. "Hi Ms... uh.." said Hazel. "Oh sweetie please- call me Aphie, short for Aphrodite," she told her.

So she treated us to a fancy lunch. "The couples here are adorable!" she gushed over us, "Oh how young love feels."
