Third-person pov:

In Augustina's opinion, expensive candlelit dinners are too common as
a date night.

What still remains exquisite is the feel of being loved and comforted even though it's just McDonald's and a fizzy drink under a veil of starry sequins.

Arms were entangled with each other as Tina snuggled up to Josh's neck. Josh chuckled as he felt Tina's lips on his nape.

She whispered in his ears, gently kissing the earlobe afterwards. 'How do you know my moods so well, hmm?'

Shivers rippled down his spine. Biting his lips, he simply wrapped an arm around her waist.

'My baby girl..do you think I don't know you?'

'It's not like that daddy...but I was wondering whether you are a mind reader.'

'No, my Lil princess!' laughed Josh.

He continued, 'I just observed you well. I am a lawyer for a reason.'

Tina twirled the hem of his shirt and stared into his hazel eyes.

'So, you are telling me..you are a good lawyer? But all I see you do is lay around all day long!'

A fake gasp escaped from Josh.

'Oh my Lord! You doubt my skills, m'lady! That ain't fair. Nuh-uh!'

A shower of small giggles left Augustina's lips.

This melted Joshua.

'Ah..my pretty kitten. You are so cute,' he remarked dreamily as he pinched her cheeks and activated Tina's "mad kitty mode."

'Yah!! Dun do that, chu bad human!'

He couldn't help as he cooed whilst squeezing her whole body in his muscular arms, 'Why so cuddly!! Ugh! I will eat you up, you are a cute mochi! Who on earth would believe this baby is a damn freak in bed?'

Crimson got sprinkled on her cheeks at this statement.

'Go away! Nghh! You are such a pervert!!!'

A whisper laced her ear. 'If I go away..who'll take you away from your cruel reality?'

That was it. It's confirmed. Augustina found him. The one for whom she had searched her entire life. He was that person.
