Unable to Lie to you

After the kiss.

It has been three weeks since Augustina and Joshua had shared their kiss.

She doesn't know how to respond to it. Like literally, they hardly know each other. Umm... Minus him taking care of her drunken state part and the kissing part. It's so bad that they both have been busy and couldn't meet up these past few weeks.

She doesn't know her feelings. Yeah, she likes Joshua a lot. A lot means a lot. He is, so handsome, caring, has a good sense of humour and quite some daddy material.

"Augustina."

Oof Joshua's smile. He is just like a Greek God.

"Tina."

Shh...his voice is like honey too. It feels like falling in love in return for hearing it every day.

"Augustina. Maria. Blackwells!!! "

Augustina jerked up and stares at her surroundings. She was in the college staffroom. She looked at the person calling her name.

"I am so sorry Mr. Harrington! I was in my own reverie. I am extremely sorry!!"

"It's fine, sweetie. By the way, was I in it? " Daniel chuckled.

Augustina rolled her eyes, "Sir, it's  not possible."

Daniel replied in a sad yet flirty tone," Not yet, honey. Sigh, it's fine and cut off that formality babe. "

Augustina raised her eyebrows. "We are in our workplace Mr. Harrington. We should leave our casualty behind if we want to continue doing our jobs."

It seemed like this guy was not going to get rid of his idea to impress Augustina with his gross humour. "You are so good with words, don't know how you would moan. "

That statement made Augustina's blood boil with rage. A very swift reflex and it wasn't long that she got him pinned to the room's wall and replied in a  dangerously low voice, "Don't fucking dare to." Her words were spat with coldness, like an iced dagger.

Harrington's eyes showed fright which ultimately satisfied her mind.
"Now, before I am pressed with charges of murder, I should scurry off to my house. Good day to you. "

Augustina left him and collected her files while running her right-hand fingers through her luscious dark hair. She reached the last floor and unlocked her car.

She sat inside and massaged her temples with her sleek fingers. She hates perverted comments like that from someone to whom she hasn't been given access. Truly. Eww! Maybe she had reacted too harshly but she couldn't help it. No one is allowed to do that.

Augustina starts on the engine and checks her phone for the last time before driving. Damn the weather is going to be colder this night.

She felt a shiver run down her spine just by imagining a 7°C temperature outside. She wants nothing more than her pup cuddled up beside her with a cup of coffee while doing her work. She wondered what Joshua's arms around her will feel like.

Oh God no! They are not in a relationship yet!! But, at least his sexy self is being a feast for her mind currently. Now, focus on the road.

It didn't take much time to reach her place. After all the classes ended up early due to the weather condition. This is the first time, the college has considered their students' well-being.

Augustina climbed up the stairs and unlocked her door but not before taking a peek at Joshua door. He is at home!! Yippee!!

She hung her overcoat and picked up Rufus. She cooed at him, "Aww! My baby, how are you? " and kisses his snout. He licked her and quickly scurried off to Augustina's bedroom. She can't blame him. It's hella cold.

She went to her washroom to change her work outfit into something more comfortable and that is her pyjamas! She brushed her hair and applied some moisturiser as her skin gets dry too fast. She tousled her hair and gathered them to make a high ponytail. Perfect!

Augustina slipped on her fluffy slippers and walked to her kitchen to make some snacks. Nah. She should make her dinner. It didn't take much time before she started to chop some veggies for her noodles.

Multitasking between making dinner and preparing some lecture notes kinda seemed difficult. And just then,  there was a ring on the door. Augustina switched off the stove and stuttered away to answer the bell.

Opening the door, a smile was bloomed on her radiant face.
