Third person's POV:

Augustina was leading a life of bliss. Her boyfriend was someone who loved her immensely. It was too good to be true. To be frank, they both were so clingy that it showed. They were the couple goals that people put hashtags for, on Instagram.

Joshua on the other hand was extremely cute and loved to assist Tina as she worked for hours. Not at her workplace obviously but always when she's at home and working.

If you ask about their apartments, well...they live in two apartments. When Augustina is on leave and Joshua has to go to court, she always waits for him after the session for the day ends, giving him the feel of the home he had left back in Wisconsin, their ancestral place. She often acts like his mother. His mother, who had passed away when he was just 15. Augustina makes him feel the long lost embrace, the warmth that no other lady could shower on him. It was only her and her in Joshua's vision. He was deep in love with her. He wasn't scared to admit it as well.

For the fact, the newly met couple has plans to travel together, get crazy and get carried on with the instincts of human nature and the flow of life. Just some things are needed to be sorted out. Some more things to be implemented, more things to be figured.

Right now, they were in each other's arms as they cuddled, savouring each other's caress and touch. The touch reached them intimately. They both were now sure sex isn't the only thing they required to be close. Their souls were glad, their souls touched each other and that was enough.

Soft whispers and promises filled their bears, sincerity and craving oozing out.

But it was time to get up to start the morning. It was already 8 AM and Rufus was being a bit impatient. Josh sat up, planting a tiny kiss on his girlfriend's forehead. Tins giggled, climbing off the bed. Her top rode a bit on her belly which Joshua couldn't resist himself and kissed her belly button. The beautiful giggles intensified.

Rufus was latched, both of their joggers on and there they went out. The morning sun looked marvellous it produced a faint aura of freshness with a sprinkle of hope. A rainbow would have looked adorable at that moment but we should be happy how things are rather than like the idea of what we would have liked in life. Being grateful is the key point in one's life. Or it should be so if it isn't.

Hand in hand, they walked. Pace matching up with the inert sense of togetherness.

'Joshua! Is that you?' a female voice chimed in, rudely interrupting their peaceful walk. Josh turned around and gasped. 'Emily! After so long! Where have you been all this time?' Augustina glanced back at the lady and looked at her. She saw a  trouser clad woman with blonde hair and stunning blue eyes.

Typical American.

She then looked at Josh who was quite glad to see her. Quite interesting, she noted. She picked up Rufus who licked her chin as she trudged towards the duo, a questioning look masked her.

The said Emily actually took notice of Augustina and asked in that annoyingly chirpy voice, 'Oh my! Who's her with you?'

Before Joshua could answer, Augustina added,' His girlfriend, Augustina Blackwells. And who you might be?'

'Ah! British! I am actually obsessed over the British accent. The reason why I was head over heels for Josh back in our college days.'

'Oh,' Tins mapped her boyfriend from top to bottom, trying to evaluate his thoughts.

Josh was quietly observing their exchange and finally replied by saying, 'It's past, Emily. Yeah, they were good ol' days but we have moved on, didn't we?'

'Haha, yeah. True.' That haha didn't exactly sound as cheerful 'haha' Augustina noted again.

Joshua has lots to explain on the way back home. No no! Not on a bad note. She trusts him but there's something unnerving about this Emily.

Author's note:

The last update was on the 17th of July, just a day after my birthday. I lost so many readers but it's true, I wasn't able to write. I am sincerely sorry. Extremely. so. I hope from now onwards I can think and get back to the passion I still have in store for my books.
