Ice Diving In The Night

We swam in the pool pretty much all day. I even invited over Emily so I wouldn't be the only girl. Jack is super cute! N-not that I like him though... I mean I do like him but not like that... Actually, I don't really know because I kissed him earlier in the pool, but I just felt the need to do it! Don't judge me ...

ANYWAYS! Back to a normal subject. It was about 7:30-ish and we all just came out of the pool. " Hey guys, look at your hands!" Jack said with a huge grin on his face. We all looked at our hands and our fingers looked like raisins.

"Ew, they look so...-" Chris started.

"Old..." Emily finished.

Since we were making s'mores, might as well start the fire and get warmed up. "Jack,-" he looked up at me with his crystal blue eyes " you wanna help me start the fire?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure! You'll need it anyways." he mumbled the last part under his breath. Chris heard and they both smirked.

"I heard that!" I said.

"Well, am I wrong?" He retorted with a snicker.

"Is that a challenge?"

"Why not? Loser has to dunk into an ice, cold pool." He smirked.

"I'd wipe that smirk off my face if I were you. You don't know what skills I got boy." I said cracking my knuckles.

"Psh, what skills?"

I playfully slapped his chest.

We hadn't even realized Chris and Emily went inside to get the supplies.

"Go!" I screamed. We started making the fire and a few seconds later I started to see smoke. YESS!!

But guess what, fate hates me and all so my stick dropped.

Jack laughed as I reached for the stick when his fell too.

"Karma's a btch!" I grinned.

He rolled his eyes as he picked up his stick.

We started again, we only had 2 minutes left to finish the challenge.

"5...4...3...2...1...! DING DING DING!!" Emily and Chris shouted.

None of us started a fire...

" Oh well, there is no winner tonight so I guess none of us have to dunk in the pool." Jack said while both of us tried to escape.

"Well you guessed wrong! The loser - or should I say losers - are you guys!" Chris said patting our shoulders.

"So take off your clothes ( we were still wearing swimsuits underneath ) and dunk." Emily finished.

We both groaned.

I threw off my crop top and shorts and placed them behind me. Jack the same with his shirt.

There were side affects to this bet. I figured since Chris was carrying 2 huge packs of ice, enough to make the pool freezing.

"Oh my-" i covered my mouth. I didn't think we'd actually have to dive in actual ice!

"Really!?!?" Jack screamed out while throwing his head back.

Emily helped Chris dunk it all in and they both ran behind us with Emily recording on her phone.

" I'm gonna kill you guys when I'm done!" Jack said with gritted teeth and shook his head.

"C'mon. We can do this." I stretched out my hand for him to hold and he grabs it.

"Ready..." He squeezed my hand

"Set..." I squeezed it tighter and held the squeeze.

"AAAAAAHH!" We both screamed as we jumped in.

HOLY NUTS!!!!! COLD COLD COLD COLD COLD!!!

I swam up as quick as possible, I could barely feel my body.

The wind started to blow, very hard, and our noses and cheeks started to turn a purple-ish color.

"This is like THE most ultimate ice bucket challenge, EVER!" She laughed.

" I c-can't f-f-feel m-my bo-body-y." Jack stuttered.

"H-hand me t-the t-t-towel." I said as Jack swam out and helped me up.

I looked down at myself and noticed all the goosebumps.

"Here, dry your heads with one towel. I don't need to babysit anyone this weekend." Chris said, referring to me.

"H-hey!" I said.

"N-ne-ever again am I-I doing t-that." Jack said as we sat down by the now made fire. He sneezed and he had tears in his eyes.

"N-never!" I exclaimed.
