Reaching out to him was a good choice,
I truly missed the vibrations of his deep voice.
I'm glad we made the decision to meet up,
Nowhere more perfect than his favorite coffee shop.
I remember seeing him walk up to the front door,
I saw him crack a smile and I sat in awe.
He was so handsome,
So perfect but I messed up.

When he sat in front of me,
I stared into his eyes and immediately felt pity.
He was still in pain,
To know I was the cause slowly drove me insane.
I knew I had to make it right,
Ensure I cleared the air, if it's the only thing I did that night.
So we talked,
And we talked,
Night fell so we went for a walk.
He was weary and he made that known,
However ten minutes later we were standing outside of his home.
