It was a normal Sunday afternoon at our house- home. The guys were brawling, Kades disappeared, I am just testing out some of their paints and art stuff- yes I had their permission, while the other two were talking— gossiping. After a good ten minutes, I heard the door open and Kades walked in drenched in water, hood in hand and weapons hidden.

"Were you thrown into a lake?!" Maui looked up at them. "No, I wasn't thrown into a lake, although a water-spirit tried to drown me." Maui continued to harass them with questions but was ultimately ignored. She followed them up to their room until Kades closed the door in her face. "Leave them be, they most likely were on duty and had to fight something," I stated as Maui jumped back down.

"ahhhh." Sean got tossed through the door and landed near the sofa. "You good?" I asked as he dusted himself off. "You think getting hurled across the room is okay?" I laughed as he walked back to the courtyard. Soon enough I heard a thud from the kitchen, I walked in and Kades was on the floor. "What the?" they looked at me. "I hate it when I randomly phase through walls." they stood up and walked to one of the cabinets. They got some potion ingredients and walked back out, I out of curiosity followed them. They walked to the back of the house where there was a table, books and a brewing stand. I hid near the door just peeking out into the room, they took out multiple glass bottles filled with water and some nether wart.

"If you two are interested how about some help?" their question was so sudden it caused me to stumble back accidentally hitting someone with my elbow. "Sorry," I say turning back to be met with Kenzo. "Sorry," he mumbled back looking at the room. "So? Are you just going to watch or are you willing to help?" I was feeling sluggish so I just watched. "Watch." me and Kenzo said in near unison. "Just try not to get into the way then." they used some nether wart as we entered the room I saw a wither skeleton skull on one of the books. I picked it up and examined it. "Don't, please. Kenzo I swear." I nearly dropped the skull and turned around, Kenzo was about to put add a spider eye.

"C'mon let me just make the stuff I need..." Kades made Kenzo sit down near one of the corners as I look at what they were making. "Move to the side a little please," they said adding some glowstone powder. "How do you get this stuff? It's so expensive in the markets." they turned to me and raised a brow. "I don't buy the items, I get them." I cross my arms. "Are you stealing?" they shake their head. "I've been to the nether five times this week." I heard shifting and saw Kenzo walk out. "You can ask Josh or Atreo, they helped me raid a fortress." the smell of roses filled the room as they cork up some of the bottles. We talked as they continued to make potions, craft items and just work until eventually, I nodded off to sleep.

I woke up in bed in my room. Who carried me? I checked the time and it was already midnight. The sound of fluttering alerted me as I scanned my room. I looked out the window and saw a silhouette- it looked humanoid but the fluttering of wings tipped me off. Out of curiosity, I climbed out of my window and onto the roof. I didn't see anything until the silhouette was illuminated by the moon. "Kades?" they turned around and pointed their sword at me. I raised my hands and stepped back. "Sorry." I laughed. "It's fine, that's on me. By the way, why are you here?" they lowered their sword. "Just preening." I tilted my head. "Preening?" I looked at their wings and squinted. "Yeah, I have to preen. Unlike yours, feathers are a bit harder to maintain." they sat down and patted a space next to them.

"Just relax, monsters can't spawn."
