This is set in an alternate reality and timeline. Karl, instead of being transported somewhere in our current reality he gets transported to another one, but there is something off.

Karl's POV

Everything was black, and I wasn't able to feel my body.

"Sir."
The faint sound of someone calling brought me back into consciousness.

"Sir?"
I felt myself stir slightly trying to wake up.

"Sir!?"
I groggily open my eyes and see a kid with a black mask on.

"Sir are you alright?" They asked as I try to sit up. "Yeah... What- time is it?" Taken aback by my question they stretched their arm out to me. "Eleven twenty-two sir." I nod and stand up with their help. "Day?" I mumbled under my breath. "It's the twelfth of September sixteen-seventy-two." Well damn. I mumble an 'okay' before dust myself off.

"I think one of my co-workers caught your horse. We should go meet up with him." I nod and soon realize that I haven't asked their name. "Hey, uhm... I forgot to ask, what's your name?" They look back at me and sighed. "Some people call me Kay and some call me Kades, often I don't mind any new nicknames." Huh. "Okay..." We didn't talk much on the way, but that just gave me time to take in my surroundings. Everything looked like it was pulled straight out of a fantasy, history and modern city, though pretty empty.

"Hey, Nick!" Kay waved at a guy wearing armour, he eerily resembled Sapnap. He walked over holding the reigns of a brown horse that had a black mane and white sock-like lower legs. "Is that the guy?" I tried to hide my shock as his voice began to ring in my ears. This guy is just like Sapnap!! Ohh crap. "This is Nick, we call him Sapnap. He's more of an arsonist than, royal guard." Even his nickname?! "Your just jealous that you can't get away with arson!" He even acts like him! "You know that Quackity and George always cover for you, right?" What the HONK?!

After a minute of Sapnap acting like a kid, he was calm enough to no longer argue. I checked my pockets and heard a small crinkle; I checked and found a letter. It was addressed to me, Karl Jacobs. "Hey, uhm where did you get that?!" Sapnap looked at my envelope. "You must be here for the royal ball, no?" I nodded. Ohh god what's gonna happen this time? I felt myself get tense as I waited for their reply. "I'll escort you there. Sapnap, check for any guests that are roaming around and get changed, also call the others." Sapnap checked his wrist which, I guess had a watch on it. His eyes widened and he ran.

"We should get going the ball should start in thirty minutes." They gestured me to follow, I did and I held onto the reigns of my(?) horse, not long after we reached the gats of a large yet beautifully constructed castle. It reminded me of sir Billiams mansion... "The stables are over here." They led me to an equally large stable with ten to fifty horses already inside.

"This way." They cut through the stables and passed a long corridor I thought we reached the ballroom but I stand corrected. We reached a dressing room with clothes of all styles. "Mister Samuel here will help." They walked back out and by my guess stood outside of the door. I looked around astonished by the amount of clothes there were. "Is there any specific type that you'd choose?" I nodded. "Something with more than two colours and maybe a little close to purple or violet." Hesitantly I answered back looking at the plain suits and dresses that lined the walls. "Much like this?" The guy was holding a purple and blue tuxedo that had a swirl on the back. I let out a low 'yes' as he handed me the suit. He then turned around and I changed.

When I finished, I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed. First time for everything... "You look, great sir!" I jolted slightly at Mr Samuel's remark. Non-the-less I smiled back and walked out. Kay bowed and led me to the main ballroom, I was shocked. Everyone looked a lot like the others, and by a lot I mean A LOT I felt nervous seeing that I was now alone in the crowd. I waddled my way to the drink table and grabbed a glass of apple cider.

Third-person's POV

He played along with the act, soon saw someone approach him. "So? Anti-social much?" He flinched and turned around. "Don't worry, that's just a joke. Now, what's wrong?" Karl sighed. "Well everyone seems so familiar-" He covered his mouth and tried to excuse himself but they stopped him. "I know you're a time traveller. Don't worry, no one can hear us." His eyes widened. "How?" They laughed. "I'm not from here either, and you're not in the same timeline." He turned around and looked at them. "How? How do you know this stuff."

Kades POV

"Look, I can't tell you how, although I can tell you why. Basically, we're pretty similar. Only to a certain extent though." He nodded. "Unlike you, I chose to come here." Karl sighed and laughed. "Lucky, I was thrown here." I smiled. "Figures." I checked my watch and cringed. "If you stay here for longer, note that I won't be able to help you after midnight." I heard a 'Huh?' from Karl. "Why?" I sighed. "I'm not gonna be hereafter then." He tilted his head and asked. "Where are you going?" I downed my apple cider and answered. "I'm going to the Dream SMP." He stared at me like I was mad. "The Dream SMP?" I nodded. "Can you help me get back?" What? "Pardon?" He looked like a kid who asked for candy. "I'm from there! Can you help me go back?!" I- "I guess I could."

There are so many ways to introduce a character into a series but this... This is probably one of the most confusing(if it doesn't fit the character) if this gets enough reads or comments I'll do a part two.
