S

carlett has been staring at her ceiling for most of the night, waiting for her alarm to

off.

Today is her first day at her new school in Kingston and she is having mixed feelings

about it. On one hand she is excited to start a new life with new friends, a new country, a new home. But on the other hand, she is really nervous, because you only make one first impression and it is an important impression. What if they found out that they only moved because her parents are criminals and one of them is in prison? In that case she might as well move to another country again.

Tring. Tring. Her alarm finally goes off.

She gets up and puts on the outfit she had picked out the night before; a blue denim

skirt with a lila t-shirt paired with comfortable white Adidas sneakers. Then she sits down at her desk and does her hair and make-up.

When she is done she walks downstairs as quiet as possible, not wanting to wake

anyone.

When she enters her living room she cannot believe her mother. She left a few empty

After she cleaned up her mother's mess it is already fifteen minutes later which means

What if I embarrass myself in front of the whole school?

What if they find out about the reason why I moved?

All kinds of these what ifs are running though Scarlett's mind as she walks with as

When she had put her stuff in her locker Scarlett went to the Spanish classroom. Turns

out the school is huge. It has two floors which have several hallways. The second bell had already rung and Scarlett is officially lost.

After she asked a teacher she ran into in the hallway where the classroom is Scarlett

finally found it. Only now she is hesitating whether she would walk in ten minutes late or not. The whole class will look at her as she'll walk through the doors to her seat.

But she decides that is probably for the best to show up at your first class so she

knocks on the door, stands up straight and walks in.

"and you pronounce it as-" A woman in a black pantsuit was saying before Scarlett

walked in. "You must be the new student, Scarlett Wilson." Her voice sounds nice. "My name is Miss. Delgado."

"Yeah, I'm sorry I'm late. I had trouble finding the classroom." Scarlett apologizes.

"It's alright. You can take a seat there in the back next to Florence and Tom." She
