It's been a little over a year since I last saw Steve and roughly three years since I fought beside the Avengers. Last I had seen most of them, we defeated Loki in the Battle of New York.

Now, we have all reunited, fighting our newfound threat in Sokovia. I ride upon a truck, shooting at anyone or anything who attacks us as my sister drives and Clint shoots arrows beside me.

"Shit!" We all hear Tony curse through our earpieces.

"Language!" I lock eyes with Nat for a mere second, chuckling at Steve's reaction. "Jarvis, what's the view from upstairs?"

"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield," Jarvis informs us. "Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken."

Nat, Clint, and I jump out of the moving truck. Nat throws a grenade to explode it as I knock out the first couple of men who attack. We split up, taking on as many threats as possible. Someone punches me in the face.

"Ouch," I rub my jaw, turning angrily to the only one standing. "You're gonna regret that," I duck their next blow, swiping their legs out from underneath them. I use the electro-shock from my Widow Bite's bracelets. I smirk as they electrocute before becoming unconscious.

"Wait a second," I pause as I hear Tony's voice, thinking he is going to say something important. Of course, it's a remark about Steve. "No one else is gonna deal with the fact that Cap just said "Language"?"

"I know," Steve sighs. "Just slipped out."

"Leave him alone, Tony," I say even though I'm still laughing at Steve's choice of words.

"Thank you," Steve says.

"I see your guys' crush on each other hasn't gone away since New York," Tony comments.

"Shut up," Both Steve and I tell him.

I knock out a few more men before seeing something dash past me. I turn swiftly around, locking eyes with a young boy with dyed white hair and blue eyes. He winks before super-speeding away.

"We have an Enhanced on the field," I inform the others even though some of them have already encountered him. I knock out a couple of others.

"Clint!" I'm pulled out of fighting them when I hear my sister's worried voice.

I turn around, seeing Clint laying on the floor with Nat hovering over him. I dash toward them, kneeling by his side. If there's one thing I'm better at than my sister, it's fixing up wounds. I take out a cloth, applying pressure. I order my sister to hold it as I get something to hold it in place. I curse that there isn't anything I can use to clean the terrible wound.

"We're gonna need evac," I inform everyone through our earpieces. "Clint's hit pretty bad."

"I can get Barton to the jet," Thor assures. "The sooner we're gone, the better."

"Thanks," I mutter, standing up as Nat stays by Clint's side.

"I got it from here," Nat reassures me before I run in the direction of the building.

I round a corner, taking out my two electro-shock batons when I come across five more guards. "Hello, boys. Wanna have some fun?" I use no effort to knock out the first one who attacks. "Come on, guys. That was too easy." I kick another out of my way before using him to receive the blow from another instead of me. I electro-shock two at a time before putting my batons away and kicking the last one in the stomach. He curdles over and I kick him once more in the face, reminding me of the time I did this move on a doctor in the Red Room. "Huh," He falls down unconscious. When I look up, Steve is standing in front of me, having come from a hidden staircase on the side of the building. "Hey, there."

"Hey," He smiles softly, staring into my green eyes with his blue-green ones. He snaps out of it before informing me and the others. "There's a second Enhanced. Female. Don't engage."

"Okay, then," Tony says. "I thought we had lost you two with the exchanged "heys." Were you also gazing longingly into each other's eyes?"

"Shut up," We both say again to Tony, receiving a chuckle through our earpieces.

"Let's get on the jet, Capsicle," I wink at Steve, turning around to lead the way.

~~~~~
"Feels good, yeah?" Tony asks Thor as Steve and I stare at Loki's scepter on the jet beside them. "I mean, you've been after this thing since S.H.I.E.L.D. collapsed."
"Yes, and now this brings it to a close," Thor nods.
"As soon as we find out what else this has been used for," Steve chimes in. "Since when is Strucker capable of human enhancement?"
"Banner and I will give it the once over before it goes back to Asgard," Tony reassures. "Just a few days till the farewell party."
"Can't forget about that," I chuckle, nudging at Thor. "You're coming to that, right?"
"Yes, of course," Thor responds. "A victory should be honored with revels."
"Who doesn't like revels, am I right, Little Crimson Widow?" Tony looks at me, a smirk playing at his lips.
"God," I groan. "I hate being 5'3."
"Hey, as far as I can see," Tony begins, the smirk never leaving his face as he teases me. "The Captain doesn't mind at all," I roll my eyes. Maybe-"
"Hopefully this puts an end to the Chitauri and HYDRA," Steve cuts him off, not wanting to hear any more of what he has to say about the relationship between us. "So, yes, revels."
"Damn right," I smile at him.
~~~~~

I observe the medical machine in interest as it examines and x-rays Clint's abdominal wound. Nat looks from beside me, more confused than intrigued.

"Are you sure he's gonna be okay?" Nat asks Dr. Cho.

"Yeah, pretending to need this guy really brings the team together," I remark, making Clint mock my words in a playful manner.

"There's no possibility of deterioration," Dr. Cho informs us. "The nano-molecular functionality is instantaneous. His cells don't know they're bonding with simulacra."

"She's creating tissue," Bruce explains in amazement, as fascinated as me.

"If you brought him to my lab, the Regeneration Cradle could do this in 20 minutes," Dr. Cho says.

"Oh, he's flat-lining," Tony sarcastically says as he enters the room. "Call it. Time?"

"No, no, no," Clint shakes his head. "I'll live forever. I'll be made of plastic."

"You'll be made of you," Dr.Cho corrects. "You're own girlfriend won't be able to tell the difference."

"I don't have a girlfriend," Clint says, bringing a cup of water to his mouth. I raise my eyebrows for a second, knowing very well he doesn't have one because he actually has a wife.

"That I can't fix," Dr. Cho tells him before grabbing her iPad. "This is the next thing, Tony. Your clunky metal suits are gonna be left in the dust."

"About time," I remark, receiving a nod of agreement from Tony. "Coming to the party Saturday?" I ask the doctor.

"I don't have time for parties," She responds before looking at a none specific place curiously. "Will Thor be there?" Everyone just looks at her.

"Don't worry," I pat her shoulder on my way to exit the room. "He is definitely a God."
