Every Second

Anna Beth was in her room listening to good 4 u. She didn't care for it much, but she listened to it anyway. It reminded her of her best friend Percy. Who just so happens to be her crush.

Flashback
Annabeth was walking to school when a guy tripped her on the way. She was only in the front yard of the school. She prepared for impact, but instead of being met with the ground, she fell in to a cute guys hands. "Sorry, I saw what they were doing, and I knew you were next so I came to catch you."

"Thank you, but why me?" She asked.
Percy blushed "sorry that slipped. Want to be friends?" Annabeth nodded. "I would love that."

Flashback over

It was Percys turn to come to her house today. It was around 10 minutes before he arrived, when her step-mom, Helen came up the stairs. "Hi Helen." Annabeth said.

"Hi sweetie! I just wanted to make sure Percy is still coming!"

"He is!" Annabeth shouted back,

"Ok! Love you!" Helen shouted, heading down the stairs.
"Love you too!"

Percy walked into the house, and said hi to Helen. He stomped up the stairs, and opened the door to a giggling Annabeth.
"Dude, you are such an idiot!" She exclaimed.
Percy laughed a went over to her. "I'm your idiot!" Both he and Annabeth blushed. "No no I-I didn't mean it l-like that!" He stuttered.  Annabeth laughed and hugged him. "I know you seaweed brain."

They decided on watching Luca, since they had a friend who was Italian, and Percy loved fish. (*cough cough* nico *couch cough*

*SPOILERS FOR LUCA*
When Alberto pulled Luca out of the water, Annabeth got mad. She said that it was pure pressure. "This is totally unfair! That's pure pressure!" Percy put a hand on her back and rubbed it around. "It's ok wise girl that's just a little to wise for me, it's just a movie."

After a while into watching the movie on Annabeth bed, they were sitting up, with Annabeth's head on Percys shoulder.
They turned to face eachother at the same time, and ended up 1 inch from each others face. Percy hitched his breath. You see, Percy had a huge crush on Annabeth. Even before they were even friends. He wanted to kiss her, badly. But he couldn't. It would ruin everything. Wouldn't it? Annabeth stared at his lips, and leaned in a little bit. They weren't even an inch away anymore. Percy decided that he would kiss her. He was terrified of course, but he connected their lips anyway. Annabeth looked askance. She soon melted into the kiss though. The thing she dreamed about for 5 long years was finally happening. For Percy it was around 8 years, which was love.

The kiss wasn't filled with lust, it was sweet and passionate. It lasted about 5 seconds long. When they pulled away she looked up at Percy. "Did you mean that?" She asked.

"What?" Percy asked.
"Did you mean the kiss?" Annabeth clarified.

"Every second."

Annabeth smiled up at him, even though she was only a few inches shorter than him. Percy smiled at her and looked at her in a way only people can dream about having their lover look at them like that.

Annabeth curled up in his lap, and soon fell asleep with her head of his chest. Percy waited a few minutes before he set Annabeth on her bed, and sat on the floor, continuing to watch Luca.

Annabeth started to mumble different words. The only sentence he caught was his own, "every second"
