Are you stupid?

"You said you were ok! You Promised! You Promised Percy!" Annabeth choked out through her pains taken tears. "You lied to me!"

"Annabeth I'm sorry! You have to understa-"

"I don't have to understand anything except you lied to me!"

"I didn't lie to you if I thought it was true!" Percy finally yelled.  Annabeth stepped back, and if the air in between her and Percy was a bit too tight.

"What?" Annabeth asked, puzzled.  A little buzz chirped in her back pocket. Her boyfriend. Luke.

"I thought I was ok."

"How? You would have felt if you weren't ok!" Annabeth told him.

"No Annabeth. No I wouldn't have. Because I thought I was done with your shit."

"What the Hell are you talking about?!" Annabeth spit through her gritted teeth.

"I'm talking about how i've been in love with you since we were like 13, yet the only person you even look at in a room was freaking Luke! I've done everything! I'm in no place to tell you who you should like, but I am in a place to tell you that Luke threatened to kill me when I held your hand that one time! He's a jerk. But...I guess I am too." Percy said, raising his voice. 

"Percy-"

"Annabeth, don't try and make me feel better and say 'It's ok I'm here, nevermind I have to go to luke's house.' and then leave me here sad." Percy told her, sick of it.

He was sick of watching Annabeth and Like o roller skating, and ice skating, and sitting on the couch watching christmas movies all night long. He was sick of having Annabeth call him at 1:00 am and ask if he could pick her up from her house because Luke and her got in a fight. He was sick of watching her sobbing in passenger seat, hiccuping while trying to tell Percy what happened.

But most of all, he was sick of Annabeth dating the guy that was a jerk. Who threatened and hit Annabeth. He was sick of Annabeth in his arms, slowly falling asleep in pain because of the bruises Luke had given her.

"Percy."

"What?!"

"Are you stupid?"

"What?"

Annabeth leaped onto him and kissed him. Ferociously.  (Y'all have no idea how bad I wanted to turn this into smexy time)

"What?" Percy asked again.

"Percy. I broke up with Luke for you. All for you."

Percy backed her onto the wall. "Really."

Annabeths breath was deep. "Mhm"

And the rest is history.
