Today is our Christmas party. I'm wearing a white dress above the knee. My hair is fixed down. I straightened it earlier. Nag liptint lang ako at pulbo saka pumasok na sa school dahil magsisimula na yung christmas party.
Pagkapasok ko palang sa gate ng school marami na ang nagbubulungan. Ang iba naman ang sama ng tingin saakin. Why are they lookin' at me like that?
"Diba siya yung nasa bulletin board? Hindi naman talaga ganun kagandahan ah bat siya yung partner ni Rian?" Magbubulungan na lang, rinig pa.
I just rolled my eyes and continued walking. Mukhang na post na yung pictures namin ni Rian as the cutest couple of the year.
Basta kasi Christmas month yung mga higher ups namin lalo na yung parte ng student government naghahanap na sila ng mga cutest couple of the year. Pakulo kuno nila sa christmas events. They also look for the best in sport of the year, intelligent student of the year, etc.
Pagkarating ko sa classroom namin ay napatingin saakin ang lahat.
"Yieeee ikaw ha wala kang sinasabi couple pala kayo ni Rian" pangising saad ni Ruth.
"Hindi naman talaga kasi kami mag couple" pag dedepensa ko.
"Uyyy deny deny pa pero ansaya niyan kasi crush niya yun" pangangasar ni Danica. Namula naman ang mukha ko.
"How did you know?" Tanong ko. "You're too obvious" sagot ng kararating na si Quennie. But wait, why is she here ? She is supposed to be in her classroom.
Nasagot din ang tanong ko nang lumapit yung guro namin sakanya.
"Quennie? Your seat is gonna be between Affyiona and Danica". Sabi ni Ma'am. I guess she's gonna celebrate with us. Catering din naman yung food namin at hindi bring and share. I guess she payed for it too.
"Hey hey y'all can't missed me" saad ng papasok na si Luna. What!? So she's celebrating with us too?
She sat between Nica and Ruth. Napansin ko sa isang round table kami ang nakaupo.
"Kawawa naman kayong dalawa wala kayong friends sa classroom niyo kaya kayo nandito" pangungutya ni Nica.
"Shut the fuck up" sabay na untag ni Luna at Quennie.
Napahalagapak naman ng tawa si Ruthy at Danica. I looked at their outfits and I was amazed.
Danica is wearing a white knitted collared crop top and white high waisted slacks. Luna is wearing a white tube top and a white fitted pants. Ruthy is wearing a white puffed sleeve dress. Quennie is wearing a white inner top and a white blazer with a white high waisted slacks.
Since white Christmas ang theme ay naka white kaming lahat.
The party started without any problems. Ang sarap ng mga pagkain at nakakabusog. Nagkwekwentuhan lang ang mga kaibigan ko well except kay Quennie na tahimik. Si Luna naman kumukuha ng litrato.
The Christmas party is filled with joyful laughters. May mga nag showcase ng mga talents nila sa harap.
Pagpatak ng 6pm kami ay nagsipasok na sa gymnasium for the highschool night party.
Disco lights were shining throughout the whole area. May pa usok usok pa. The dj was in front of the stage playing some musics.
"Let's start the party!" Sabi ng Dj. Nagsigawan naman ang mga estudyante sa excitement.
Nica, Ruthy and Luna ran to the dance floor and started dancing wildly. Quennie went to the side and stood to watch the people.
Habang pinapanood lang ang mga tao ay muntik na akong mapasigaw nang biglang may humila sa braso ko. Pag harap ko si Rian lang pala. Despite the dim light I could see his handsome face. Ang gwapo rin nito sa suot niyang white bomber jacket na may black shirt sa loob.
