Massachusetts. Hating taxes and the British government since 1686.
"Hello, Governor Andros. I am the Dominion of New England." Dominion of New England said, introducing himself to his new Governor. Governor Andros seemed surprised by him, most likely because of Dominion of New England's physical age. He was still waiting for his proper physical age to solidify and was dealing with the trial of trying to be respected while looking like a child.
"Hello, Dominion of New England." He responded.
"Just call me New England. It's shorter. What are you planning on doing as Governor? My people don't like me, so you must be careful not to anger them severely if you want me to live to see the end of the year." Dominion of New England said. It was blunt, but it was the truth, and nothing his Father or brother could do would change that. Governor Andros looked slightly surprised.
"Why don't they like you?" he asked.
"They see me as violating some of their rights as Englishmen," Dominion of New England said. He neglected to mention that they were still upset over the death of the prior New England personification. The last time he did that, he was punished for it.
Dominion of New England didn't want to be punished again. He was a good colony.
Governor Andros looked confused and slightly angry.
"These men left behind their rights as Englishmen when they came here, New England. They will not and do not deserve to be treated as Englishmen." Governor Andros said, speaking slowly as if he was talking to a child. To be fair, Dominion of New England was physically and chronologically a child. But he wasn't mentally. He hated being spoken to like that.
More importantly, he hated Governor Andros' ideas. If he continued to promote them, Dominion of New England would definitely die sooner rather than later. His people would never stand for that.
He could only hope Governor Andros realizes that before things get worse. His purpose was not to fight his governor; his father ensured he knew that well.
For better or worse, he would follow his father and Governor Andros to the end of time.

It got worse.
Dominion of New England thought this would surely make Governor Andros see that what he was doing wasn't liked by the people here. He didn't seem to get the message.
Reverend John Wise had led a protest against the taxes—something Dominion of New England had told Governor Andros was possible, as his people didn't appreciate them.
Governor Andros said he was being ridiculous and that just because he looked like a child doesn't mean he got to act like one.
Dominion of New England was furious about that.
He was also furious about what one of Governor Andros's officials had said to Reverend Wise. The official said that Reverend Wise had no more privileges left to him and some other stuff that Dominion of New England didn't fully understand.
Dominion of New England didn't like what Governor Andros had been doing. Dominion of New England knew Governor Andros wanted to ensure that his laws matched England's laws, but he didn't think he was doing it right. Governor Andors didn't take his people's opinions and lives into account; he just did whatever he wanted to do what England wanted.
Dominion of New England started to understand why his people hated him and his father's direct rule so much.
If he were one of my people, he'd hate him too.
