(79) Where?

After I dropped off the three kids, Ross and I went out to eat at some casual restaurant further from home.
"This is far." I say scared because we're basically in the woods.
"Just alittle longer, and we'll be there." He says. "Be where? We already ate our dinner. Are we going on a roller coaster now?" I ask annoyed-"I hope you don't plan on killing me." he laughs sliding his back down his seat.
"No, it's a surprise."

I sit alittle longer, and by now, I'm at the edge of my seat. Squirming around everywhere, getting anxious. If people were to see me in the front seat, they would probably think I'm some four year old ready to get some ice cream, or a nine year old extremely excited to look at the sight of an amusement park. "Sit back, what are you doing Natalie?" Ross asks. "I'm very anx-" I got interrupted. "Ross! This is beautiful!" I say jumping out of the truck. "Come lay with me." He pulls my arm. We were now laying under a billion stars on a grassy field surrounded by darkness, but we got away from alot. It felt like our highschool days when we weren't married, didn't have any children, and just when we, ourselves, were stupid little kids.

"Do you remember how we met?" I ask cuddling up into him. "Yeah, I cherish every moment, everyday. I couldn't be any happier." His lips part softly. "I miss this." I whisper, looking up into the same exact eyes I fell in love with when I was eighteen. Before it all happened.

"Sit up, let's go walk around." he says standing with his hand out. He ran to the truck pulling out a guitar case. He walked back over to where I was and pulled out his guitar and started to sing.

"Ross." I whisper wiping my eyes.
"I know I've messed up in the past, because of my stupidity. But I honestly love you, and everything about you." he says as the whole cold field got brighter. Lights shining on us. And everyone came out. I got surrounded by a cake, and a bunch of our friends and some of our family, some had tears in their eyes from his beautiful singing. Friends we're holding signs that said 'happy birthday'
"Last song," Ross laughs. Which would be the third song today, and I couldn't afford to look even more like a mess.
Everyone sat down beside me looking up at him as he slowly started.

He slowly finishes pulling me up. As everyone cheers.

"Happy birthday princess." and with that he pecked my lips as everyone of our family members and friends go wild.

I haven't updated in almost four months. I was caught up with school. And packing for Florida which I leave in two days.
And I used all One Direction songs because I'm feeling their album 'Four' lately. I'll list the songs below.
& Sorry for the lack of updating.

I'm currently listening to Fireproof & their whole album 😂 I just love this album.
