September 29th, 1998From the inside of the Halliwell manor you could hear the loud crashing of thunder mixed with harsh tapping from the rain. Parker Halliwell, the youngest of her three sisters, was sitting in her bedroom on the phone with one of her only friends Clary Clark. The two knowing one another since kindergarten, and have stuck by each other's sides ever since.
Parker found it hard to open up to other people, with her never knowing her mother, and then only a few months ago her grams left her as well. She's found it that the more people you let into your life, the faster they can just walk away. So she's always stayed close to her family because they are the only people that wouldn't leave willingly, except her dad but that was a whole other story.
Her sisters were her best friends, except for Prue, she acted more like a mother to all of them. Now she just waited for Piper to get home so the train wreck of her sister telling Pure that Phoebe was coming home from New York today. Though Parker was the youngest, Prue was always the hardest on Phoebe.
"Yeah, I don't think you should come over tonight, Clary," Parker said.
"What, why we haven't hung out in forever, you're always hanging out with your sisters," Clary whined.
It's not like she didn't want to hangout with Clary, it's just she didn't want to have everything be awkward with all of the fighting that was going to occur in the house. Even though she loved all of her sisters, Parker couldn't help but be more excited for Phoebe's return, she connected more with Phoebe then she did with Piper or Prue; probably because she wasn't as serious as her two eldest sisters.
"I know I'm sorry, it's just Phoebe is coming home today and Piper and I may or may not haven't told Prue about it yet," She said, while walking over to her bed to sit. "And I already know that you're not gonna wanna hear the profanities that are gonna come out of their mouths," a chuckle escaped her lips.
Just as those words left her mouth she heard the front door slam shut, and heard Piper call out Prue's name. "Ok, Clary I've got to go, the madness is about to start," She said.
Before she could hang up Clary's voice came from the other end of the line. "Promise me we'll do it tomorrow," Clary says.
"Ok, I promise," Parker responded. She hung up the phone and made her way towards the staircase at the end of the hall. When she was halfway down the stairs she saw Piper and Prue talking over by the dining room table.
No screaming yet.
"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" Parker called out.
"Just my amazing boyfriend," Piper responded, giving Parker a smile, while Prue handed her a bottle of wine.
Parker scrunched her eyebrows, "Jeromy sent you Port,"
"The ultimate ingredient for my recipe," Piper said, a gleam shining in her eyes.
