December 6th, 1998"Ask again later. Hello? Vague," Phoebe huffed to her sisters, after shaking a magic-8 ball. The three waiting for her to get back with their movie tickets. "How am I supposed to plan my future without a little direction,"
"You, who can see the future, is now looking for it in a magic-8 ball?" Prue proclaimed.
"My visions don't help me, remember?"
Piper joined Phoebe at her side, "I've got an idea; why don't we ask it if Prue and Andy will get back together?" The question immediately peeked Parker's interest as she stepped over to Phoebe's other side.
Phoebe quickly shook the toy in her hand.
"Uh, please Phoebe don't," Prue whined.
"Ooh, interesting," The brunette let out as she looked at the answer.
"Very," Parker added.
Prue quickly stepped forward to look at the ball only for Phoebe to shake the answer away before Prue had the chance look.
"You three are cruel,"
A smile broke onto their faces.
"Ask it what a day off feels like," Piper said, looking at her pager. "That was my boss, Martin. I've got to get back to the restaurant,"
"You're kidding," Prue said.
"There's a convention in town, and business is crazy,"
"But you worked a double shift yesterday and the day before that. He's working you to death Piper," Phoebe stated.
"I thought you were going to talk to Martin about this weeks ago," Parker joined in.
Piper scrambled with her purse in hand, taking out her phone, "I never got around to it,"
"Piper, you never get around to it. Go and tell him to stuff it. Tell him that you're taking the night off, and that's that,"
"I know. You're right. I will," Piper mumbled. "Hello, Martin? No, I know what you want but—okay, no it's not a problem. I'll be right there,"
The other three Halliwell sisters gave each other knowing looks at their sister's lack of ability to tell someone no. "Wow, you told him," Prue stated.
Phoebe leaned into her sister, "Beware the wrath of Piper," She dragged out her name.
She chuckled, walking away, "I—I will talk to him eventually. I got to go,"
"Uh, wait, Piper I'll walk you to the car, it's safer," Phoebe called out to her as she jogs after her.
"We'll wait here," Prue gave a straight lipped smile.
Parker wrapped her arms around her eldest sister's body, placing her chin on her shoulder, "Will you keep me safe, big sister," She let out in a sarcastic; baby voice.
