The soulmate tattoo on the inside of your bicep was beautiful and strange at once. A blue heart, inked on your skin by fate, surrounded by lightning bolts It seemed like a weird thing to represent a soulmate, almost reminiscent of superhero, but you couldn't dare to hope that.

You were taking a casual walk around the city, when you heard gunshots. You immediately ran towards the sound like an idiot, regretting it when you found two criminals in an alley with their guns pointed at you. Their confusion allowed the woman who had been getting shot at to escape. The men flicked the safety off their guns ...

And you prepared to die.

You closed your eyes, gladly knowing you would die saving someone. Suddenly a whoosh of air passed you, forcing you to open your eyes so you didn't fall on your face. You looked at the criminals and saw that they were both knocked out.

"Wha- How?" you spluttered.

"Are you alright, Miss?" a Sokovian accent said behind you.

You turned and took in your rescuer who was ... a work of art. Even as he was attempting to tell if you were alright, he wore a smirk that made you somewhat swoon.

"I'm fine," you said, though somewhat shakily. "Thanks for rescuing me."

"It is no problem. Would you like my jacket?" the man replied. "You are shivering."

"Uh... sure," you held out your arms. He stopped suddenly, staring at you.

"Is ... everything okay?" you asked, confused.

He wordlessly pulled back the fabric of his shirt, revealing the exact same tattoo on his (muscular) bicep. "We are ... soulmates?"

"Yeah ..." you breathed, staring at it with a ghost of a smile.

He suddenly pulled you into a close hug and spun you around, making you giggle as you fell into his arms.

"I am Pietro," he said. "And you are a beautiful princessa for a soulmate."

"I'm Y/N," you replied. "And you are a courageous guy for a soulmate."

"May I take you to dinner?"

"Of course, Pietro."
