Chapter Two - Rei Pago, the Cold Air Village

    After Zane prepared a light breakfast that consisted of buttery scrambled eggs that melted in your mouth and savory french toast with glasses of orange juice, the Ninja were ready to set out on their journey.

    Nya was a bit confused as to why Master Wu wanted her to accompany them, but they all made it clear that she was practically a part of their team and they needed her help anyway. If they were going to deal with as shy of a little girl as they expected they would, maybe seeing another female would help her trust them more or feel more comfortable.

    Lloyd, however, was completely reluctant to set out on this journey now. He was not sure how he was going to react when he met his twin for the first time after so many years. He wasn't sure that he liked the idea of her training alongside him to kill their father in the future. He would rather face all that on his own. She did not deserve to deal with all the stress he had to deal with. Maybe there was a mistake somewhere - he was almost tempted to ask Wu whether he was wrong and it wasn't his sister after all. But Wu was an old man who knew what he was doing, so Lloyd couldn't question him.

    They all gathered around Ultra Dragon and piled on him, Lloyd taking the reins at the front. Of course he was going to be the one leading the dragon, it was his! But Cole suggested that it would be a good idea for someone to take over after awhile if Lloyd ever got tired. He was only a little boy, after all. Plus from what Master Wu said, Rei Pago was quite far and it would take a long time for them to reach there, so even if Lloyd wasn't little someone else would have taken over regardless.

    So, the Ultra Dragon took off the the Ninja were on their way high in the sky, flying over little towns and villages as they travelled. Lloyd was very happy to be flying the dragon, but after less than fifteen minutes he nearly caused all of their deaths by accidentally swerving the dragon too far to the left, so Cole immediately took over.

  

    Lloyd was content with just enjoying the ride, though. He had never done anything like this with the Ninja, and he had to admit it was kind of fun. But then the reason for why they were going on the adventure in the first place popped into his mind... Oh.
    And so Lloyd continued to be constantly switching from happiness to a heavy feeling in his heart, then back again.

    They flew for hours and hours, and eventually Lloyd was almost starting to become bored. Even Ultra was beginning to let out growls as he flew, as if he too was beginning to get bored. Zane made a comment about how maybe they should have packed food and that sent Jay off into a rant about how he was a very hungry, growing boy and needed to eat at the correct meal times. Needless to say that kept them all entertained for a while, and then Kai joined and started complaining about how tough it was being a young man with a vast appetite, then Cole joined, and soon they were all blabbering loudly about the matter and Lloyd found himself sniggering once or twice.

    After flying for half the day, and when the sun was beginning to lose its burning glow, they decided it was a good idea to rest for a while. Ultra was probably becoming very tired, and so were they. They found a nice patch of ground to land on in the middle of a forest and stretched out.

    "Ahh, finally!" Nya sighed, stretching herself out and basking in the soft light of the sun. The weather was becoming cooler and it felt quite relaxing.

    "How far away are we from Rei Pago?" Cole asked curiously as he flexed his sore wrists. Directing a large dragon for hours on end was not an easy task.

    "About a few hours, at this rate. It is highly probable that we'll end up arriving very early next morning," the old sage replied, bringing out his teapot from out of nowhere and brewing his precious tea as usual.
