Heyy!
This is more of a chill chapter before Llara's training starts, so she can have a small taste of normalcy before she's faced with the responsibility of being the Saviour of the Universe.
Should I write more of these chill chapters or would you readers prefer to see more of the things that happen in the actual show? If so, then what kind of interactions would you like to see between Llara and the Ninja? Between Llara and Lloyd? Leave a comment and let me know! ;)

After their day out and after the whole fiasco at the end of it all, the Ninja and Lloyd returned to their apartment while Nya and Llara returned to theirs. Llara was, unsurprisingly, silent and did not utter a sound, right up until she was safely in her room by herself.
Katsu brushed against her legs, then gazed up at her with his sympathetic eyes, resting his little orange paws against her foot.
Llara felt tears build up in her eyes for some reason. She knew what she had done at the amusement park was bad, even though she hadn't done it on purpose. She had singlehandedly caused so much damage, and that was even by accident. Imagine what she was capable of if she really tried...
"No," Llara sniffed. She curled up in her futon and held her new teddy bear like a lifeline. Katsu meowed loudly, with his annoying voice that Llara would never admit she actually loved.
Llara just sat there, being all miserable and thinking back to the whole incident. When it had happened, she didn't think. But it had felt like a power had surged from within her - something powerful, something sinister. It was only for a split second, but she'd felt how strong it was. And if she could pinpoint exactly where she had felt that before in the past, she could only think back to all those sleepless nights she'd had all those fevers that seemed to eat her from the inside out, like something welling up and overfilling in her. The feeling was almost identical, except that it had only lasted for a second this time. Was that what it was, then? Her unexplained fevers had something to do with this strange power, didn't it?
And as Llara pondered over everything, she remembered the words Wu had uttered when she'd first met him.
You're the Daughter of Darkness.
The words echoed in her head, and she curled up into herself even more, getting scared. Tears threatened to pour down her round cheeks, but she held it in. She didn't want it. She didn't want this power. So she caused destruction? If that's all she was good for, Llara didn't want it anymore. Even the thought that she was helping Lloyd barely swayed her to thinking otherwise.
The truth was, when Wu had first come to get her, they had caught her off guard. She hadn't paid much attention to what he had said about the prophecy stuff, she was much too preoccupied with the fact that she was finally reunited with her dear brother. But Llara had a good memory, for even though she hadn't been able to take it all in at the time, she remembered exactly what Wu had said. About the prophecy, how they were meant to take down a Dark Lord and save Ninjago and restore the balance. How Lloyd represented light and she represented... darkness. Destruction. Llara blinked rapidly and felt the hot tears leak out from her eyelids, despite how hard she tried to hold them back.
Llara had been brought up in an environment of peace all her life. People that dedicated their lives to prayer and worship. One of Hideyoshi's most reoccurring lessons that he often taught her was that violence only caused more problems. Destruction and violence of any form was absolutely unacceptable if one wanted to live a peaceful, happy life. How was Llara going to be able to live that happy, peaceful life when she'd just learned that apparently her only purpose in life was to fight and most likely kill some Dark Lord she had never heard of, and the very same destruction that she'd been adviced against lived within her? Inside her very veins?
