"HOLY SHIT!"-Another week had past and so another weekend had come. Mina and you had started to hang out with the boys during the week: you ate lunch together; would chat in class and passing periods; and would even hangout after school; which was exactly what you were doing now.
The six of you were standing outside a record shop. "What the shit asshole, trying to make me deaf?" Katsuki said, scolding Denki. After quickly realizing his mistake he said, "don't say anything." You just slapped your hand over your mouth to hide your snickers.
"Guy's we gotta go in! I need a new 'walkman'. My old one got broken by someone." Denki glared at Kirishima who just shrugged.
"Hey dude it wasn't my fault you wanted to know if you could put skittles in the thing."
"Let's go in," you said with no hesitation and marched through the doors. The shop had records covering the dull white walls in rows. Large, simple light fixtures hung from the ceiling giving the shop a small feel to it. The inside smelt like mold, cigarets, dust and wax. You shot straight into the rows of boxes, each stuffed with records, some new some old. The others weren't far behind you, although both Mina and Sero preferred to buy blank tapes over the vinyls. Kirishima and Denki went off to search for a new walkman which left you and Katsuki to look though the records.
The blonde stood by the door not really looking for new music. You shrugged to yourself and continued to meander though the small shop.
You made your way over to a corner and found rolled up posters and another cardboard box, this time filled with all sorts of band buttons. Some were homemade: kids from the town-aspiring musicians- would sneak handfuls of their own buttons into the box, promoting their music and band. Other kids would hang up pieces of paper on the walls covered in chicken scratch and album names.
You flicked through the 'real' posters. Normal ones like 'KISS', 'AC/DC', 'Bon Jovi', and 'Bryan Adams' came to view. Then a flash of bright red came to view. You tried not to get excited, it could be anything, and the odds of this place having the poster of your favorite 'Beastie Boys' photoshoot were slim... but you had to look. You unrolled the paper and there it was in all it's glory: the three asshole womanizers you were in love with. Adam Yauch in white with is pants being pulled down; Adam Horovitz looking hot as hell standing with his arms crossed revealing a v-line; and Mike Diamond with his signature shades and chains hanging decorating his person.
You needed this poster. So you simply placed the vinyls you had tucked under your arm back where they belonged and brought the poster to the counter.
"Just this please." You told the cashier who was dressed in heavy punk rock clothing. He nodded and said, " 's gonna be $4.25." You went fishing in the pocket of your overalls and pulled out four dollars.
"Uh, this is all I have." You felt your heart drop. You really, really wanted this poster. The cashier shook his head and gave you a pitiful look.
"Sorry kid, I wish I could help ya." Your know he did, you had walked into this shop a few times sense you had been transported back in time. You had even struck up a few good conversations with the twenty-something year old. You sighed.
"I can just come back." But before you turned to walk away a large hand slapped a quarter on the counter. You turned to see Katsuki with a scrunched up nose as he let go of the coin.
"It's pay back for the car. I hate being in debt." A huge grin split across your face and you turned back to the bleach blonde punk. He gave you a small smile and took the money and the six of you turned to leave.
"See ya soon (Y/N)", the cashier called out to you.
"Later Gary", you waved and walked out with the other five holding your poster delicately.
"That guys name is... Gary?" Sero exclaimed in surprise. You chuckled.
"Yea, his girlfriend has no eyebrows, white hair, wears all black has a ton of piercings. And-get this- she goes by the name: 'Death'. No shit." Your friends laughed in surprise. "She's super nice though, I met her once, she comes to the shop a lot."
After some more chatter your friends asked to see the poster you bought. Your unrolled the paper and showed them all. The boys laughed at your choice in poster as Mina nodded in agreement with your choice.
"Mina, I mean look at him he's super cute." You pointed at Horovitz, the middle one, who you had a huge crush on. The boys quieted to hear your conversation.
"Oh yea, he's hella fine. I like that one though." She pointed at Yauch, the one on the left.
"Oh yea, and his voice is dope. It's like deep and raspy. But Ad-Rock is my favorite, and girl, between you and me, I would go home with him." Mina let out a sharp laugh and you raised your eyebrows playfully.
All of a sudden a certain dandelion shoved past you, walking more quickly than the others. As you pondered over what had gotten into the blonde, he pondered why he felt so upset with the conversation you were having. It was all in good fun, so what was this burning in his chest at the mention of you liking this dude. The odds of anything you actually said happening were slim. Hell, the chances of even meeting the guy was close to zero, so why did it piss him off.
Mine.
The word passed through his mind like a flash. He barely even acknowledged the thought, a distant, quiet, voice in a corner of his head. But he pushed it away ignoring the thought and choosing to will it away as just some strange burst of losing control. A prank his mind pulled on him.
But when you touched his bicep gently, with your small ass hands and your pretty little head titled to the side like a puppy's he knew that maybe, MAYBE, he had a teeny tiny little crush on you. Nothing he couldn't get rid of, or so he hoped.
"Are you ok?" You asked, words falling from your lips.
"(Y/N) I-", was all he could say before he licked his lips and stared at yours.
"Keep moving guys, I'm hungry." Kirishima shouted. And so you moved again but not without catching a glimpse of Katsuki's head following you and his eyes drifting... well to your ass.
I mean fair, you thought, I got a great ass. But you couldn't shake the unease that something big was going on in the blonde's head. You wanted to know.
