Scarlett

"Call 9-1-1," Kole shouted, running towards the crash with Sam and Ryder.

Phoenix turned to me. "Baby, stay here. I'll be right back."

My heart flooded with fear. "No, not again. I'm going with you."

"Scarlett," His voice was stern but out of concern.

"The last time you said those words to me," My voice trailed off, looking up at him with tears in my eyes.

His brows furrowed, nodding his head. "Okay...just stick with the girls," He looked at Mia and Lily.

"We got her," Mia spoke up.

"Let's go," He said, taking my hand in his tightly.

I pulled back, grabbing Vee's hand with my other. "We're sticking together."

Her body was shaking with a panicked expression. "Scar."

"Come on," I told her as we started to run over to the chaos quickly.

When we got closer, there was broken glass with car parts smashed into pieces all over the middle of the intersection. Cars were stopped with people standing outside of them, wondering why no one was moving. Several bystanders jumped into action, making sure the ones involved were getting help until the ambulance came.

"He's stuck. There is no way to get him out," Ryder shouted at the others around him.

"That's Jesse...that's his car," Vee looked over towards Ryder standing by the car that's one side was completely smashed in.

Nix put his hand on my shoulder. "I'm going to see if I can help them."

I nodded as he quickly kissed my cheek. Lily and Mia stood next to Vee and me, feeling helpless.

"Look," Mia spoke up. "They pulled a man out of the car that flipped. Maybe he's going to be okay."

"I hope so," Lily's voice was laced in concern.

The sound of a girl's voice echoed around us. "Help," She cried out from the other side of Jesse's car, slowly pushing the door open.

"Amber," I said in realization.

Suddenly Vee ran towards the car. "Vee, wait!"

The three of us go after her.

"Woah, hold on," Vee shouted.

As soon as she got to the door, Amber fell out, with Vee struggling to catch her.

Mia and Lily rushed to help hold her up when the sight of Jesse completely crushed into the middle console and unconscious caught my attention. His head was bleeding, but what worried me more was the way his body was stuck inside.

"Bring her over here," A woman yelled over at us, taking my attention off the horrifying sight in front of me.

I guided the girls over to the spot as they carefully placed her down. The woman put a blanket around Amber before running over to the flipped over car.

Mia had a hand on her shoulder, making sure she wouldn't fall back. "Wh..what..where is," Amber could barely speak as she put her hand over her face, giving a pained look. She had a few cuts on her face, but nothing major that we could see from the outside at least.

"Hey, try to relax," I told her. "The ambulance is on the way. Are you in pain anywhere?"

She slowly looked between the girls and me. "Just my head...and my neck," Amber grimaced. "Where's Jesse? Did they get him out? Is he okay?"
