sero was going insane, utterly insane. he was pacing the house back and forth, his nerves all jittery since the minute he woke up. all he did was spend the day preparing for tonight, to make it absolutely perfect.

today was the day, the day he would ask ashido to make him the happiest man alive and marry him.

ashido was working all day and has been busy for weeks, but sero had planned this specific day out for months. as discreetly as he could, he was able to make everything fall into place with ashido's schedule. ashido got new nails every two months, and she happened to get her last set in may – meaning she was getting a new set for july and august. sero set up a nail appointment for her before hand, saying it was a treat on him. ashido was very grateful, not thinking twice about it and gave him lots of kisses after. sero was also able to make sure ashido was free tonight, saying it was awhile since they went on a fancy date. ashido was a sucker for romance, so she obviously accepted without a doubt. he couldn't mess tonight up, he needed it to be perfect for his soon to be fiancé.

he couldn't have done it without the help of his friends though, specifically those in the iida model agency. everyone was basically in on it, but ashido. sero was able to ask iida if he could borrow awase to be the photographer for tonight, which the two both happily agreed with. todoroki came all the way from tokyo to help set the place up with sero because he had the day off, knocking some sense into him when he would freak out. yaoyorozu was able to give an exclusive dress from her clothing line to ashido, saying it was an early birthday gift. aoyama gifted a brand new makeup palette set, also as a birthday gift. he said he accidentally ordered a double and wanted to give it to her right away because he knew how much she wanted it. ashido was overjoyed and said to them how she would happily use it for her date tonight with sero, which is exactly what he wanted her to do.

now, all that's left tonight is the date.

"oh my god this is happening," sero spoke out loud, "holy shit, im seriously about to do this,"

just as he was about to let out a scream, the front door clicked open. sero, who was in the kitchen, came running out and saw the beauty who walked in.
