chiba, japan...

hagakure bursted into the apartment room that belonged to the two boys, a happy expression on her face. it was a normal thing by now, and the two boys weren't surprised.

"hi!" she happily shouted.

"hagakure, if you're here to watch kakegurui again, i'm gonna lose it," tokoyami deadpanned. he was currently at the couch, a drawing tablet in hand. it seemed that he was doing some graphic designing.

hagakure faked a hurt look, "ouch! well i guess it's your lucky day, because we aren't,"

ojirou laughed. he was in the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water. he set it on the dinner table and went to give hagakure a hug.

"what's up, love? did you need something?" ojirou aksed, taking her into his arms.

hagakure melted into his embrace, "nope~ i just wanted to stop by! it was a long day with the kids,"

the couple let go of each other, and both walked into the living room onto the other couch beside tokoyami's. tokoyami looked up and scrunched his nose.

"how do you deal with kids for a living? i swear, children are the most troublesome thing," the boy questioned, sounding highly genuine.

hagakure giggled at the thought. she always loved kids, and they loved her just as much. having a job at the daycare was the highlight of her days, besides all of the other joyous things.

"i don't know, but i just do! they're so cute and adorable, but then there's also the cranky ones. you just gotta let them loosen up to ya, build a bond with the little one. they're sweet when you have a good relationship with them," she explained with a smile, the sweetness in her voice ringing.

ojirou just stared at her talk about the job she loves. seeing her happy made him happy too, and he wished it would stay that way.

ojirou put a strand of hair behind her ear, "you'll be an amazing mother, toru,"

hagakure turned to look at her boyfriend. there was a faint blush on his cheeks, and he suddenly was embarrassed from what he said. it made hagakure all bubbly inside, and she smiled some more.

"i'm glad you think so," hagakure hummed, "i think you'll be an amazing father one day too,"

tokoyami coughed loudly, "okay that's enough cutesy stuff,"

he placed his tablet down on the coffee table in front of him and stood up, "i have a wedding to go to and you guys are coming, so get dressed in like.. some fancy manner,"

ojirou raised an eyebrow, "a wedding? wait why do you have a wedding to go to?"

"some extended family invited me to their family's wedding, or something like that. oh i don't know, but there's gonna be free food, so let's do it," tokoyami explained, emphasizing the "free food" part.

"why're we coming?" hagakure asked, but not opposing him.

"because i don't wanna go alone?" tokoyami replied as if it was obvious, "we'll be fine, i'll just say ojirou's my long lost brother and your his girlfriend. it isn't technically all a lie,"

ojirou chuckled, "you just want the food, don't you?"

"it's free food, mashirao. if you turn down that offer you're insane, you can't convince me otherwise," tokoyami looked at him with a glare, "i swear it'll be fine,"

"as long as we won't get in trouble," hagakure said sternly. she was definitely the one to keep both of the guys in check.

"mhm, now chop chop!"
