sendai miyagi train station...
at last, it was thursday. tokoyami boarded the train and turned around one last time, waving kindly to the girls who brought him there.
"thank you, girls. i hope i see you guys again soon!"
"goodbye, tokoyami!"
"bye bye, we'll miss you!"
"bye, uraraka, tsu!"
the doors shut and he took his seat. the girls watched as his train took off, and asui stared the whole time until it disappeared off into the distance.
it was four-thirty pm in miyagi, and tokoyami was on his way back to chiba. it was a three hour long train ride, and the girls decided to drop him off and say goodbye for now.
"we both know when you said "we'll miss you" you meant you'll miss him more," uraraka sighed, watching her best friend stare at the long gone train.
asui turned back around and waved her off, "let's head back,"
asui and uraraka had work for the whole week, and every time tokoyami came by for a little. yesterday, wednesday, he decided to stay a little longer though. he even offered to take them out to eat. asui came along, but uraraka declined the offer because she wanted to film a new video and possibly chat with midoriya.
and because she knew asui had grown a little attached to the gamer guy.
asui and uraraka arrived safely at their apartment, except asui went straight to her room. it was expected, so uraraka chose to let her be. uraraka knew asui didn't like the thought of people she liked leaving her. the fact that tokoyami and her were able to click really well made it a little more difficult. this was one of the reasons that uraraka chose to stay with asui, even though she had the choice to move to tokyo once she finished college.
"tsu! i'm gonna be in my room if you need me," uraraka knocks don her door gently before walking into her own room.
inside asui's room, she was huddled up in the corner with her earbuds plugged in. her gloomy state that uraraka assumed she was in had actually passed over, and she was on the phone with the boy that just left for home.
"and you called me because?" asui asked softly.
"it's gonna be a boring three hours, so i wanted company. is that okay?"
she laughed, "more than,"
if she was being honest, she was a little nervous. would she be enough company for three hours?
"y'know.. being in sendai wasn't so bad, mostly because you and uraraka were around,"
asui hesitated before replying, "w-well, i'm glad we made it a better trip,"
"yeah... thank you, tsu,"
his voice was so peaceful.
"you're welcome, tokoyami,"
it was silent for a little, the only noise was the rumbling from the train tracks.
"uh.. i don't know if i was imaging this but, were you sad?"
"kero..?"
"eh.. i'm not sure but i swore i saw you frowning,"
"ohh.. well you aren't wrong, i was,"
"because i was leaving..?"
"there wouldn't be another reason, right?"
"i-i'm sorry.."
